My zig zag won't work on my older viking machine. How can it be fixed?

How long since your machine was thoroughly cleaned and oiled? Mechanical machines need periodic TLC to keep them in top operating condition. Could be the machine has seized due to dried-out old oil.

I am sorry. The 60629850 Singer Sewing machine was told to me that it was born in 1884 not 1883! Please help me find a manuel for this machine in original condition!

In the 1900s there were no manuals as the seamstress would be taught how to use the machine the shop selling the product. A Singer sewing machines are all very similar and an older seamstress would be able to share information, I would have thought.
There may be someone here willing to help;

you would have to check with a sewing machine shop in your area and see how much it would cost to service the machine and they can tell you if parts are still available

so, the belt adjustment screw is stuck? loosening+ tightening the belt is an abnormal requirement unless the previous owner messed with it. the belt should be neither too loose or tight. both conditions will mess up sewing. this is where experience with a variety of machines comes in handy. i can tell by the feel of the belt. it should be firm. a displacement of around 3/4" is a general guide when lightly pulling it toward the front of the machine(toward you.) belt tension, upper thread tension, and bobbin race tension are difficult subjects for those not used to sewing. very important also to use the correct needle for each project. what needle size+point did u use for sewing velcro?

The needle tension seems too loose while the bobbin tension is way too tight. I am attempting to free-machine quilt so the feed dogs are down but the sewing seems very jerky. The machine also seems to...

Undo the screw on the bobbin case anti clockwise about a quarter of a turn and test and repeat if necessary until you get it right, put the top tension on 4 or 5 first.

I have an industrial singer model:cs-4002-6. HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH

Value depends greatly on location and condition. Shipping a machine used machine is usually not cost effective due to weight. I often see this type of machine in working condition with table and motor sell for under $200. Kind of tragic when you consider what it sold for originally. To determine demand in your area, look on Craig's list for industrial sewing machines and remember that older machines are less desirable than Juki, Consew or other modern copies due to parts availability.
