Check the water resevour inside of the frig. down towards the botom backside in the refrigerator compartment. sounds like the water lines frozen. take a hair drier and gently thaw out the plastic tubing that comes out od the resevour tank.

Unable to get water out of the door dispenser

could be several items.... 1st you want to make sure you have a good filter in the unit if you havent changed in a while could be a problem... 2nd alot of the g.e. models have dual water valves and it could be the water valve solenoid is bad... if you have mechanical capability you can go to rear of unit and disconnect the line going to dispenser and hold a cup at valve and have someone depress the dispenser .... if you are getting water there that eliminates the valve and the actual dispenser switch ...if you are not getting nothing will need to test for 120 volts ac current and make sure the valve is getting power when you hit the dispenser lever. if no power the problem is going to ne the actual dispenser switch ... hope this helps service tech 18 years

Note the 2 solenoids built into 1 part. Replace this part and you are done. Don't forget to unplug frige and turn off the water before you replace this part. EZ FIX...

Icemaker will not stop dispensing ice

Can you confirm please does it dispense water by itself if you select water? have you tried lifting the ice maker stop lever by hand? At a guess from your fault description I'd say you need a new dispenser micro switch. at worst a new Ice maker unit inside freezer. cheers
