a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Restart your computer in safe mode. Press F8 while rebooting. Once in safe mode, go to Start - control Panel - system. Right click on and remove the network card devices (you might see more of them there than you do in normal mode). Then restart the computer.
It should detect the new card and allow you to install the drivers for it. If it still doesn't detect the new NIC card, try powering off the machine. Open the case, and make sure the card is properly seated inside the computer case. Press down on it firmly. Then restart and see if it detects the card.
If it doesn't detect the card, the card might be bad. If you have another card, I'd suggest trying a different one, to see if it recognizes a card that you know is good.
Try these things and let me know how it goes. Thanks.
