Re: sansa e260

The little pictures are album covers. If you have RealPlayer, then I can tell you step-by step how to. -First, get rid of the songs you want to edit; otherwise, you'll have doubles. -Go to your RealPlayer music library and select the song you wish to edit. -Right click it and select "Edit Clip Info..." -On the right side of the new screen there should be an image of the RealPlayer logo. That's the cover art screen. Press "Browse," beneath the image, to find an image file that you want. -Press okay and if you need to edit any other information about the song, you can do that. -Close out of the box and right click the song again. Choose "Copy To..." And then "Sansa e260" to send it over.

E260 player won't read some songs

Check if the size of the disk is actually what they say it is because I have seen where 1gb was written on an mp3 player whereas it was stretched, e.g, 128mb might be stretched to 1gb, so whenever you put songs that exceeds 128mb the other ones will not play at all. It has happened to me several times.

Still having the same problem w/ sansa

Try to re-install the firmware.  Download and double-click.

This might solve your problem.  Also if that doesn't help, try downloading the newest version of Windows Media Player.
It can be found on the microsoft website or just google it and you will find many download sites.  Hope this solves your problem!!!

Just close it if you dont want WMP. IF what you mean is i dont know how to download songs then go to The SYNC tab on WMP but first make sure you are using WMP11 or Higher. After clicking the SYnc tab then Drag the song files to the empty spot below the playyers picture and clik The Load Songs button or Synchronize button. Hope this helpsl

Cannot get my computer to recognize my sansa e260 player

I cannot get my desktop to find a driver for the e260, but if you use the SD microdisk you can load stuff to the microdisk if you have a card reader. You need to buy the full size SD card with the micro SD attached. Then sync the stuff you want to load and when you boot up your player, it will refresh the data base and you can play the stuff on your card. Seems a shame to waste 4 gigs of hard drive on the player, but I do not know anyone who has found a driver for the e260 that works with XP service pack 2. If you do please send me an email me.

go into wmp11 and disable the auto synch feature, then you will be able to add your own. depending on the size of the files, and the length of the songs, you are about right with the 510 number.
