How would we know any of that? Contact you internet service provider (ISP) for that information.

    Cannot receive e-mail

Are you using any email client to access the emails? and Do you see any error message?

    I cannot recieve emails

Get the information of port numbers of (pop3, imap, http, smtp) form one of the active machine that you have. I don't know which mail client you are using. But you should get it form accounts and settings. Port numbers should be the same for each machine for the same mail server. You have to check incoming and outgoing mail server address.

If everything is correct compare to other active machine, please check firewall and antivirus settings. newly installed firewall or antivirus also blocks sometimes.
If you have sill problems, send your problems details, like which operating system you are using, which mail client you have and information of ports number for mail server, mail server address. With which antivirus you have installed and the time you are facing problems.

Note: do not post username or password of your account.

in the router... kindly provide more details about your setup. otherwise, all i know is that in your outlook, you should have the following set. username, email address, incoming and outgoing servers and a correct password for your account.

I can not send emails. I am being told that I need 530 authentication is required. What is that.

error 530 has something to do with incorrect logon details. pleas double-check your outlook configuration. like the smtp server, outgoing server, or incoming server. re-enter your account details like username and password then try again.

Email cannot connect to your server. please give me current servers mine are onetel

You haven't given a description of your issue, but seem to have a some problem with email, and using onetel services. The following is from their site at This should allow you to make sure your settings are appropriate.

Please find below the basic Onetel e-mail settings:

If your e-mail address ends in
    • Incoming mail server (POP3): Port: 110
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Port: 25
    • Username: the first part of your e-mail address (everything before the @ sign)
    • Password: the password you chose when you registered the e-mail address with Onetel

If your e-mail address ends in

    • Incoming mail server (POP3): Port: 110
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Port: 25
    • Username: your full e-mail address
    • Password: the password you chose when you registered the e-mail address with Onetel
Additionally, contains various information depending on the email software you utilize on your equipment, and indicates specific instruction for setting up accounts on each.

I trust one of these solutions will address your needs, but if not, or if you need further assistance, please post additional detail in reply. Thanks for rating FixYa!

Setting up existing e-mail onto new pc.

wel smtp is your outgoing mail provider.

    email account kpn
    internet account kpn

    correct settings:

    email account kpn
    internet acount xs4all.

this is the correct settings: with correct username and password

as you see you have to take the smtp address of your internet ADSL provider.

    good luck.
