Lexmark p 6250 prints to the right

I have reset and aligned my cartridge and only use lexmark original cartridge. When I print something off it prints to the right too much and cuts off about one inch of what ever I am printing. It prints off the side of the paper.

My lexmark is connected to my pc, my ink is more or less full it is making all the right noises for printing but the paper comes out blank...........please help its a lexmark 12

Try to re-seat your ink cartridges by removing it from the printer. Then unplug and replug your printer into the power source to reset. When the printer turns on, reinsert your cartridges and make sure they're properly secured. Let it print an alignment page. Or try to print again. If still nothing is printed, your cartridge nozzles may need some cleaning. This article in the Lexmark website will give you steps on how clean the cartridge nozzles: How to Maintain the Print Cartridges on the Lexmark All-In-One Printers

My Lexmark Z 515 printer does not print clearly especially the second part of a piece of paper. How can I clean the printer?

Hi there,
To improve print quality
1 On the operator panel, press Options repeatedly until
Cartridges appears.
2 Press the right arrow button until Align appears, and then press
Select.
An alignment page prints. Once the alignment sheet prints, your
automatic alignment is complete.
You may need to clean the print cartridge nozzles.
Using the operator panel
1
Load paper in the All-In-One.
2 Press Options until Cartridges appears on the display.
3 Press the right arrow until Clean appears on the display.
4 Press Select.
A nozzle page prints forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the
clogged nozzles.
5 Print your document again to verify your print quality has improved.
6 Try wiping the print cartridge nozzles and contacts, and then print your document again.
7 If print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles up to two more times.
Using the Lexmark X5100 Series Solution Center
1
Load plain paper in the All-In-One. 2 Click Start Programs Lexmark X5100 Series Lexmark X5100 Series Solution Center.
3 Click the Maintenance tab.
4 From the Maintenance tab, click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
5 Click Print.
6 Print your document again to verify your print quality has improved.
7 Try wiping the print cartridge nozzles and contacts, and then print your document again.
8 If print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles up to two more times.
If the print quality does not improve after cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles, dried ink may be on the nozzles or contacts. To wipe the print
cartridge nozzles and contacts:
1 Remove the print cartridges.
2 Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with water.
3 Hold the cloth against the gold nozzle area for about three seconds.
Gently blot and wipe dry in one direction (this prevents the colors in
the color cartridge from mixing).
4 Remove the old cartridges
5 Let the nozzles and contacts dry completely.
6 Reinstall the print cartridges, and then print your document again.
7 If the print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print
nozzles up to two more times
8 If print quality is still unsatisfactory, replace your print cartridges.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
Have a good day.

I just installed a new color cartridge in my 8650 Lexmark printer. The ink cartridge acts as if it is empty. Printer keeps telling me to align cargridge. Worked perfectly before the new ink installed. Not...

  1. On your computer, go to "Start," "Programs," "Lexmark Series." Click "Lexmark Control Program."
  2. Step 2 Select the "Cartridges" tab. Click "Change Cartridges." The Change Cartridges screen appears, displaying the animated instructions for installing or changing cartridges. When you have finished viewing the animation, click the "Finished" button.
  3. Step 3 Remove the tape covering the print head of the new print cartridge. Insert the new print cartridge as shown in the animation.
  4. Step 4 When the "Choose Cartridges" screen appears, select the cartridge(s) you installed in your printer from the list boxes. Click the appropriate box to reset the ink levels to full. Click "OK."
  5. Step 5 The Automatic Alignment screen appears. Click "Align" to align the print cartridges for best print quality. The printer prints a page with a bi-directional alignment pattern. On the printed test page, locate the number that comes closest to forming a straight line under the bi-directional alignment pattern. Enter that number as the bi-directional alignment setting in the Alignment Cartridge dialog box. Click "OK."

I have poor print quality on my Lexmark 4550

That obviously shouldn't happen. Did you print an alignment page after you inserted the new cartridges? There could also be some clogged nozzles on the new cartridges. If you haven't contacted Lexmark technical support through www.lexmark.com, suggest you do so.

Lexmark X2580 won't print after cartridge refill

I know this is something that you may not want to hear... I used to work for Pitney Bowes fixing postage machines.. these machines have inkjet printers in them. If you use refills other words ink not from the manufacturer it will cause you problems. I know that it might work a few times without problems... but I have seen it first hand at Pitney Bowes... If you don't use the manufacters ink it will destroy your printers. In your case go back to using the Lexmark cartridge... see if that solves the problem. Which it very well could work off the Lexmark brand again. Printer manufactures do this on purpose you have to buy their ink! In any case good luck.

Changed ink cartridges cannot print alignment page, out of ink

You need to reset the ink level before the printer can print further, to do these please follow the following step:
1) Goto the Lexmark Solution Center application.
2) Press button Maintenance>Install a new print cartridge, follow the instruction on screen. U may then have your new full ink level. Note: u only can reset to full level, cannot customize the level by your own.
Then try again with printing alignment task.
Hope this help.
