I've replaced digitizers and LCD screen on a number of phones. I bought a 7" AGPteck tablet for my 4 yr old son for christmas. He broke the digitizer. I want to replace it but I can't find where I can buy a new one.
I believe the person asked where to get replacement parts for tablet PCs, not for commentary on the price of parts or their skill on electronics repair.
Best place I have found to get replacement parts for microelectronic devices is ebay and amazon, although with an off brand like AGPtek you may be forced to purchase the parts through the manufacturer (most likely for a SIGNIFICANT markup.) I know with my AGPtek TP15 tablet, replacing the glass digitizer consists of disconnecting a couple ribbon cables and attaching the replacement. Getting the parts is the hard part.

You COULD replace it yourself, but i would highly recommend you get a tech to do it for you. The reason i say this is because electronics repair is a tricky business, fraught with dangers on the micro- and nanoscopic level. Unless you are handy with a screwdriver and own a ESD (electro-static discharge) bracelet, get a tech to do it. As for replacement parts? try ebay. thats where i get all of my stuff.
