Question about Gaggenau Left-Hinged 70cm (Approx 27 in.) Combination Steam and Convection Oven - ED231 Electric Single
My Gaggenau Steam Oven was working fine yesterday and today the f70 error shows. I have tried turning off the power twice but the code still appears.
I too have same proble - poor reliability on these units. I had to get engineer out to fix float switch that cuts off steam already - half a day to strip and rebuild. Same fault a second time cleared the float switch by pouring in boiling water to oven (the standard oven flushes through with cold water which does not clear even moderate amounts of grease)

SOURCE: F14 error message
First change the fuse. Then if it still isn't functioning properly, you may have to replace the lamp, in which case you should contact a specialist. Details can be found in the Instructions Manual.
and enter EB270 and click the Go button.
Then download the PDF file of the manual in English (EN)
Hope this helps :)
ps Someone else on Fixya claims to have fixed the F14 problem by changing the PCB Board, whatever that is.. but there was no further rating or feedback given. That's all I have.. Good Luck!
