Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
I let my boyfriend's cousin use my computer and he downloaded oovoo. I noticed a lag on my computer after he used it so I assumed it was oovoo so i uninstalled it through the control panel. But now when I go onto certain sites The webpage will go blank and I have to scroll down to see it. I don't exactly know how to explain it but it does load the webpage but it pushes the entire thing down. I don't know what else to do to fix it.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You have something running in the background that is eating up the CPU useage. You need to identify which process is doing this. Use the built in task manager, using ctrl-alt-delete to bring it up, and see which process is at above 90% cpu usage. Then post back here what you find.

SOURCE: Video card problems
Sounds more like the screen has a spot in it where the circuitry is bad, easiest thing to do, is take it to a repair shop and see if they can fix it, if not, call the manufacturer, and see if they can get you a new one. Usually they will, since it will be considered a defective product.

have you been installing a lot of progs for trial and then uninstalling them?
If yes and even otherwise:
1. use a Registry cleaning prog and clean up the registry.
2. scan you laptop for viruses.
I f you do not have a Registry cleaning prog ask in my guestbook on www.tevatia.com.

download a proxy avoiance app, like Ultrasurf (use a friends computer as it is blocked) or if you are running Mozilla Firefox, download the add-on Foxy Proxy. trust me, as a fellow proxy avoider, Ultrasurf is the best, it even works at school
