Question about Samsung SGH-t329 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Not able to charge

I plug the charger into my t329 and it will not charge. I've looked at the connection to see if it was miss-aligned but no luck. I also used a different receptacle. Any advice or should I just get a new one? Thanks.

My htc incredible s won't charge, I've tried

It sounds like the charging port on your phone is broken. This could have happened a number of ways. Either by dropping your phone, putting the charger in wrong, or taking it out wrong. If you call HTC(866-449-8358) and it is still under warranty they will probably fix it for free as long as it doesn't have any water damage(http://www.ehow.com/how_4479971_check-cell-phone-water-damage.html). Otherwise you could also get a new phone.

Micromax x225 is showing low signal

Ever looked at the power specifications of a mobile charger?? well if not, then have a peek... u will read that the output voltage is 5V DC........ the computer USB also has a voltage output of 5V DC........... any USB based electronic device needs this power to get started.... The laptop coolers u get basically work on this power from the USB... U'll notice that the USB ports have 4 terminals.... the extreme outer side are the POWER terminals +ve and -ve..... the middle 2 are the BUS lines IN and OUT.... a BUS is something electric conductive that allows the flow of 0's and 1's or rather high and low voltages to pass(Basic IT theory).... so this 5V DC can be used for doing anything; charging the mobile phone battery to lighting up entire rooms with LED's, making laptop coolers, etc......... Every mobile phone which has the USB connectivity option gets charged when plugged in... so sometimes even if u dont have the Mobile charger dont panic, find a computer and plug in the USB... not only micromax x225 mobile but, there are almost 80% mobiles which charge by connecting it to pc. Only nokia phones don't get charged. it is a good feature don't worry

My motorola Blur won't charge, I've tried other chargers and nothing, it will catch a charge for a second and then nothing, now my phone is dead

My Motorola Blur would not charge kept saying Connect Charger. I tried various power connecters including the Original one that came with the phone and the USB to no avail. This morning I took the phone apart and clean it and still would not recognize the charger.

Fix: I lifted up the connector where the charger plugs into on the actual phone and now it is making contact and appears to now be charging my phone.

Phone charges intermittently. Signals charging sound, then stops charging, then starts again. Battery dead in the morning due to lack of or intermittent connecting.

* Try to change or check another charger, might some wirings are apparently cut and loses contact.

* as well as changing the battery too, might need a replacement due to a long time use or overused.

* Also check the battery terminal pins if its align, might missing the ground and not triggering the battery interface that's why the power voltage is not supplying accurately.

best regards,

I yanked my Verizon Blitz charger out of the phone while I had it plugged in. I forgot it was in there. But anyway, When I have the phone unplugged it wont turn on. In order to turn on my phone I have to...

Yeah you've messed it up pretty good, it looks like you messed up the charging mechanism/battery connection.
take it into a Verizon store see what they can do, hopefully you're still under warranty

Not charging

There are a few things you can try (you may have done some of them already):
  1. It may seem simple, but try plugging your charger into another outlet.
  2. Check the charging connector on the phone. Make sure that it's free of any dirt that could be blocking the connection to the charger.
  3. Buy another charger. If it doesn't help, return it afterward.
  4. It could be the battery itself that's dead. You could try looking for a replacement battery, but that may be harder to return if it doesn't help. You could also try taking the battery out, and then plug in the charger... some phones (very few) will work without the battery, but this will tell you right away if it's the battery.
  5. The charging port on the phone itself could be loose. Try jiggling it with the charger connected to it.
  6. The charging port could be dead or there could be some other type of electrical issue with the phone (water damage, maybe, or something else).
Hopefully this helps. Good luck.

Charger is not recognized by my phone when i plug it in and is completely dead i really need my phone

I had the same problem. There are little teeth inside your phone and the connection for the charger. One or more may be bent and if one of them is not touching, the charge will not start. I would recommend either purchasing a new charger or bringing your phone to the location you bought or another authorized retailer and have them take a look at the "teeth".

Phone will not take a charge or turn off. it says unable to charge

Have you tried another phone charger? I had a motorola charger that had a bad plug on it and it wouldn't connect right. The phone could recognize that the plug was connected, but could not route the voltage through it, thus telling me it was "unable to charge". If that's not it and another charger doesn't work either, look at the connector on the phone. See if there is any dirt or debris in it. If so, try to clean it out. Also, if you got the connector wet, it can corrode rather quickly. If this is the case, you may need to use a drop of isopropyl alcohol to clean the contacts. Hope this helps. Good luck.
