I cannot not get my small wireless logitech mouse to work again on my netbook after taking it out and inserting it again.

Try a wired mouse or another USB device to see if the USB port has been damaged. Try a USB phone charger cable to see if there is power from the USB port.
If the USB port is working for other devices then try your wireless stick on another PC.

Wireless mouse won't work, have replace battery, rebooted laptop removed and replaced mouse connection etc. Was working fine until yesterday

Is it not working at all or is it moving erratically across the screen? If it doesn't seem to be working at all, turn off your mouse then unplug the receiver's USB cable from the laptop for about 5-10 seconds then plug it in to another USB port. It may detect a new device, just let it do the automatic installation if it asks. You should here a 'tada' or ding sound when it is plugged in. When installation is completed or about 10 seconds after you hear the sound, turn your mouse back on.

If it still doesn't work, try shutting down your laptop completely instead of just rebooting it.

If it still doesn't work after that, make sure you have a spare USB mouse available then uninstall the software for your wireless mouse or mouse/keyboard combo then reinstall it.

USB device not recognized

Two things to try. First try a different USB port. If that doesn't work go into Control Panel> System>Devices and find the device. It should be under Unknown devices. Delete it and unplug the mouse. Reboot and then inser the mouse. If that doesn't work tyhe mouse may be faulty.

Hello there:
if you have tried to remove the usb from the computer and turn off the computer and restart than install it again and you can also try to put it in different r usb port it may recvognise it that way too.

Connecting USB during install freezes computer

There are many possible reasons why your computer will shut down when your USB is used but most probably your PC power supply might not have enough power, try unplug other devices such as printers, scanners, other input/output devices except the mouse & keyboard.

There is a light/button on the USB plug. After inserting the USB key press that button then immediately press the connect button on the bottom of your mouse.

Hope this helps fix your problem.
