Shut off your computer ( not really nessasary if you don't want to). But I well assume that you did shut it off. Plug it into the power outlet in the wall first. Than there should be a usb cable that came with it. On one end there is a skinny rectangle and the other end plugs into the back of the printer. Once you have put the plug in the back of the printer, plug the other end into a usb port on the back of the computer. It looks like a skinny rectangle. Turn on your computer, once it is loaded up, turn on your printer and follow the onscreen instructions which should pop up on the screen within a minute or so. There should be instructions that came in the box though.
Good luck, and tell me how you made out. And pleae rate my answer.

I don't have installation cd of lexmark x2450. how can i do it to install?

Any drivers you need can be found on the lexmark website. Note that some printers need the software installed before hooking up the printer. I'd try to install the printer first. The software will tell you if the printer needs to be connected.

I have a Lexmark X63 printer, but it is not listed as one of the printers that is compatible with my Acer computer.

Does the computer have Windows Vista on it?

If so, that is correct. Lexmark does not have a Vista driver for the X63.

However, many people with Lexmarks (and other non-Vista supported models) have had success using Windows 2000 drivers on computers with Vista installed.

If you have Windows XP installed, or if you have Vista and want to try the Windows 2000 driver, they can both be downloaded here, directly from Lexmark:

Be sure to UNPLUG the printer from the PC before installing the software. ONLY plug it in once the on-screen instructions tell you to do so.
