Shut off your computer ( not really nessasary if you don't want to). But I well assume that you did shut it off. Plug it into the power outlet in the wall first. Than there should be a usb cable that came with it. On one end there is a skinny rectangle and the other end plugs into the back of the printer. Once you have put the plug in the back of the printer, plug the other end into a usb port on the back of the computer. It looks like a skinny rectangle. Turn on your computer, once it is loaded up, turn on your printer and follow the onscreen instructions which should pop up on the screen within a minute or so.
There should be instructions that came in the box though.
