Somebody put developer in your toner hopper. You'll have to vacuum out the toner hopper and clean out the developer. re-service the machine with developer and toner after cleaning out the mess in the drum cavity.

I have a Kyocera KM-5530. It prints light in some areas. There is good transfer to the drum, but just not to the paper. New corona wires, new main high voltage board, new developer, and toner. Anyone know...

This would indicate that you are having a transfer problem or the Paper is very damp. Have you changed the transfer corona wire?
Also check the drop down mechanism that holds the transfer unis. Mechanichaly if it is not in the correct position when in the locked position this can cause the problem that you are experiencing.

How to replace corona wire

The corona wire is part of the image drum, you replace the entire assembly not just the wire. The corona wire itself is not available for purchase.

The image does not transfer to the paper.

Sounds as though the primary corona wire is broken giving no charge to the drum, the developer clutch is not rotating the developing cylinder, or the transfer corona wire is broken.

I have a white stripe on the copies. I just installed a new toner cartridge, and cleaned the transfer charger. I have a Sharp AR-162S copier that is 3 - 5 years old. Thanks.

Hi check the developer unit make sure it is coated end to end some times the blade on the developer gets foreig matter stuck and prevents the developer/toner to go onto areas of the developer mag roller also check and make sure the transfer corona wires are in good condition no black marks on the corona wire if there is replace the wires

I have sc301 error code with aficio 551 and i have changed the charge corona bud the code appears again i want to now if there is problem with charge crona power pack or not and if its deffected where is...

the charge corona power pack is located inside the drum cartridge, when you will open the drum cartridge by the two screws on the both sides and when you will open the one part from the cartridge you will see the drum on one side and the corona power pack is located on the other part in the right corner you cannot miss it because that is the only electronic plate, for the drops of toner you will need to see do the developer need to be changed or the seals are damaged and need to be replaced also see the cleaning blade for the transfer belt do is ok
