I had the same issue today. I found that opening the unit you can see that there is a white ribbon cable connecting the head unit to the main board. removing this cable and re-inserting it the connector fixed the problem. The display now works again...hope this helps

It would depend on a zillion things. Only a hands-on technician could answer it. Diagnosis and Labor costs can be open-ended.
Typically, modern electronics is not economically repairable. At $355 on Amazon for a new one, it could easily be cheaper to replace than repair.

Switch off power, remove cover. Remove four screws holding top black plastic disc cover and then remove all of the black plastic ( x 7 ) disc holders. You may find that the aluminum cross structure has come adrift. Replace into the slots again and replace all the disc holders. If you want, you can check before replacing cover, by then ejecting and 'disc skipping'. It should then be OK. If it has been forced, the aluminum cross structure thing may have also come out of the slot it should in in on the right hand side. Slide the disc frame in or out until it can be fitted and retest.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Hi Normally disconnecting the power will reset it, barring physical breakage or jamming. Pull fuses or just pop the radio out and unplug it. If that does not work the only way to get the cd changer to work and for the cartridge to eject was to remove the cd changer and dismantle it. Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.
