Hello There, I need to buy memory card, right now I have 126MB, which one should I go for ?
Problem for Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P92 Digital Camera
Power on for file viewing and setup, but not camera or video.....

When I press the power button, it comes on, but only if I have it set to the "Play" button which lets you brows your pictures; or if I have it on "Set Up"
If I switch it to the camera or the video options, it immediately shuts off.
The camera went several months without use, sitting in a drawer. When I tried to use it again, this was the problem I was presented with.
Any help would be appreciated.

- Same problem, power on for file viewing & setup only. Shuts down when put on camera or video. Also noted that have a flashing red LED where memory card plugs in. New and/or different batteries make no difference. Since this 1st occured problem has escalated to not coming on for any setting, however LED continues to do a fast flash. Reset button has no effect on camera itself or LED, though LED ceases to flash as long as reset button is held down. Was such a good camera, how could it just up & die for seemingly no good reason?ANY HELP OR EXPLAINATION OUT THERE FROM ANYBODY?- HALAXWOOD2

- i have the exact same problem; camera only stays in the 'view pictures' or 'set up' mode, as soon as i turn to camera or video thing, it turns off.recharged the batteries; still same problem...
