Question about Televison & Video
Computer drives have a tiny hole that if you straighten a paperclip and push into the hole the disc will eject. if theres nothing like this on your tv then you'll have to take the cover off the tv and access the drive. If you don't like messing with electronics you shouldn't attempt this, seek a skilled person to do it for you.

Hi Mouse999. From reading a bit, it seems that there's no region free hacks for the built in dvd player in that specific model. A solution for you, would be to purchase a standalone dvd player, one that is region free or one that has a region free hack available, and to connect it to that tv. If you're in europe and your tv is pal, you also need to have a dvd player that will read both Pal and NTSC video dvd's ! If that doesn't help, please be more specific, i'll be glad to help. Thanks, cheebster.

SOURCE: DVD trying to eject
I just took my West. DVD 40" apart
Very cheap DVD player inside.
Fixed one problem - the felt glued down to inside of DVD player to keep DVD from getting scracthed when inserted inside the player came off and was binding DVD - this may cause DVd to want to eject - I am calling Westinghouse to see if they will send me a new DVD player to install.
DVD has gotten louder over the past few of it's 20 month life as well - to an unacceptable level.

SOURCE: I have a 32
This is a backlight or inverter Problem. Based on the model you have, I am guessing the inverter is defective.
Inverter is defined as the board in the TV that supplies power for the flourescent lights inside the LCD TV that provide backlighting for the TV's Display
