hey it is due to the model of your ps2 and your game is PAL and your TV is NTSC or the other way then it would give you black and white screen.the model of ps2 is written on its back side if both your tv set and game and ps2 are pal then there might be a problem with your ps2 av cable or ps2 itself
Most likely Becuase it isn't a dualshock controller. Or if the game is on the PS3 and your using a PS2 controller. But sometimes you may use PS2 controllers on the PS3. but sometimes some games won't let you use the controller do to the lack of usage of the dualshock controller. I hope this helps
compared with the pc its debatable which graphics is better. i'll say its a bit more clear on the pc.
2)you don't need to start from the beginning each time you play as long as you have a memory card which is sold separately. you can find them anywhere from $5 to $30
3)you can not connect your ps2 to a pc.
4)that just depends on your preference. do you like using your keyboard and mouse to play games on or would u prefer a controller? most pc games allow you to use both the keyboard and mouse or a controller. where as most ps2 games u can only use a controller.
Let me tell you something from ma personal experience about ps2 controllers...........PS2 CONTROLLERS DOES NOT WORK MORE THEN 6 MONTHS................yeah thats true............if you are using it carefully life may exceed...........take care while using PS2 controller because mostly controllers are damaged from sockets becarefull not to rotate PS2 controller wire or hitting it on floor(lolx i did that myself once)..........buy a new controller for your PS2.......!
I have the same problem!
my BLACK
i actually have 2 controlers and both of them dont work on this game i dont know why..
but when i restart my PS2 and the menu pops up i can move upi and down and all the buttons work, how come they don work in the game?!?
When you say hard, did you mean the controllers analog stick is very "stiff" or loose to the point that you can't move the characters onscreen or the characters move involuntarily. If this is your case then you may have to try another PS2 dualshock 2 analog controller in your PS2, If the problem doesn't happen with another controller, then you may consider buying a new PS2 dualshock 2 analog controller since most likely the controller is already defective.
Also try other games, see if the problem only happens with a particular game. If it does then you will have to check the settings of the game, and see if you can adjust the settings of the buttons or analog stick.
If the problem you're having is more with the "comfort" of the controller you're using then you should consider looking at 3rd party controllers for the PS2. One company that makes them is Logitech, they have a line controllers that work for the PS2 there are other companies so check out gaming sites to get reviews on them. But I would suggest though that if you're shopping for a controller because of this reason, you should try to test the controller out in a game shop first. So that you can get a feel of it before buying. If you like the controller and you're comfortable with it then tha's the time you buy it.
Ok. This is kind of a trick question lol. Each button on the controller has different features in accordance to the game you are going to play. Each video game has a game booklet that shows what each button does for that specific game.
