Question about Cribs, Cradles & Bassinets
I have a simplicity 3 in one crib that needs a full size bed rail set in a light oak color. Being that simplicity is out of business i need some info on where to purchase these bed rails
i think i have a solution to your problem. I too have been looking for simplicity bed rails but in honey to convert to a full. I found sears.ca and they carry the rails in every color but there version of the ellis crib is called the sydney 4 in 1. It is the same exact crib so I am purchasing the rails myself. If they do not end up fitting then just send them back. Sometimes canada have the same things as us but they are named different I know I live 15 min away from the canadian border. Hope this helps.

Yes all i have a solution for the simplictity problem.
There is a company in Canada that has the conversion rails and other parts you are asking about. They do deliver to the US. There name is The Kiddies Store. The Ellis collection is called the Sydney.
Phone number is 1-800-755-4857
web site is http://www.tjskids.com/simplicity-sydney-4in1-convertible-crib-cherry-p-4226.html.

Does anyone know what the model number for the Ellis 4 in 1 is??? Is it 8674 or 8748? Was anyone able to locate the rails for the full size headboard yet?

The simplicity ellis 4 in one crib plus the drop side were recalled. This is why you can't find the rails. Check the babiesrus.com for your model number to get a refund!

Tips for a great answer:
Since Simplicity has gone out of business, rather than waste time tracking down parts and pieces, I would pack it up and take it to Walmart.
Please note, Simplicity has gone out of business and the Simplicity Cribs should NOT be used as cribs. They were sold at Walmart, Target and BabiesRUs. The word on the street is that Walmart is the easiest to deal with when it comes to returning them. Those who wish to return Simplicity cribs don't need a receipt, they can just take them to Walmart for store credit. BabiesRUs was apparently giving about $65 while Walmart was closer to $190. Again, this is just what I have heard from others.
You can find the specific information on the Simplicity recall here.
If you do want to use your Simplicity crib as a Toddler Bed or a full bed, I have not read any warnings against this. Again, I might just take it to Walmart anyway and get a store credit and perhaps buy a new convertible crib. You can get some great ones on Amazon for around $150 with delivery included.
Graco Sarah Classic 4-in-1 Convertible Crib ($150 including delivery!)
There are tons of other cribs available, and you could probably get one at Walmart too.
