The fridge door will not stay closed. I changed the gasket, tightened the door screws, cleaned the contact area and it still pops open.

After all the good ideas you've already tried, the next things on your list could be:
(a) level the floor under the fridge - they often sag under the heavy weight of a loaded fridge due to moisture/rot.
(b) level the fridge itself - using the leveling legs. If the fridge continues to have a problem with
the door poping open, try raising up the front of the fridge above level.
(c) unload the door pockets - making the doors lighter may help solve the problem.

My heat went in my 2004 ford explorer...its blowing colding and there is a knocking noise

The knocking noise is the key. Assuming the coolant level is correct, and the thermostat is working correctly, it sounds like you have a blend door actuator concern. If the knocking noise is coming from the center dash area, the blend door needs to be replaced. The radio and center trim will need to be removed, the blend door removed and the blend door needs to be manually moved to verify heat. Good luck.

Hi banging noise coming from machine, drum still spinnning and heating up

I am not sure but it sounds as if a piece of the gaskets around the front and/or back of the drum may have come loose. Try this... open the door and look for a gasket/ring that is located where the drum meets the front of the machine housing (this is where the drum slides against the door frame or front of the dryer) Some models have different configurations but the drum rotates against some type of gasket material) use you fingers and slide them along the gasket and feel for any missing pieces. Then do the same with the rear drum gasket, if there is one. If that is not the problem It maybe from your dryer not being level, check that next, a non level dryer will shake and make a thumping noise.

I shut my refrigerator doors and a noise is made in the top back happens...I open the doors and the sound disappears. What should I do

Try to set the level of the fridge. Using a bubble level on top, adjust the front feet up/down to level it. When the doors open, weight is to the front and may help with an internal fan blade position.

What can I do to reduce to noise my Maytag washing machine is generating for my condo next door neighbors.

Try and get some thick foam strips and put around the bottom of washer and also make sure it is level. If your floor is soft you may need to screw down 3/4 inch plywood under washer.

HOW DO I GET PAST THE LAST CASTLE ON LEVEL 8

reach the first door and go through it.when you bump one of the boxes a box will come out which turns it upside down,go through the door that you can now reach, then find your way past the laser beams to the new doors, keep finding the ? buttons to turn it upside down.then when you finally reach the noise. on the first three go through the bottom, the next section go through the top,and then the middle.otherwise it will go on and on forever.then you will get to doors, you have to kill bowser jr and then the big bowser.hope it helps

The door will not open after the last wash. It may have been over loaded or poorly balanced inside because it made loud noise/ rattle & rocked when trying to go into the next cycle.

On a Hotpoint front loader m/c, take the lower panel off at floor level. Try not to break it as fragile. To the right is an emergency tab, pull on the tab downwards at the same time as using the door handle. It should now open.

Noise

Check if ADEQUATE water is present during the wash. (open the door and observe the level midway in the wash)

Also verify water is coming in for the rinse. Problem here only would likely be with the timer.

Check that the spray bar is free to rotate. Too high a load can keep bar from turning.

Refrigerator Leveling Problem

Buy an inexpensive spirit level ( regular level sold everywhere) and check the level for yourself.. If you push/pull on the fridge..does it rock at all.. if so.. it may be level but the adjustable feet aren't making contact sufficiently to keep it from moving.. If after you've verified it is level.. you can do a few diagnostics on your own.. you can try removing everything on the door inside.. then listen for that noise.. if still there.. remove shelves and food etc.. see if it is still there.. check the snap on grill at the bottom to make sure it is secure.. check the hinges on the doors and make sure everything is snug.. make sure ther isn't anything on top of the fridge that might be vibrating when the fridge cycles.. You have many options here.. Hope this helps..

Humming noise coming from Jennaire built in

is the unit touching another apliance or unit touching it as the contact can produce sound as it vibrates on something else if it is not touching something else then the unit probably isnt level it should havfeet on the bottom that turn round to allow you to get the unit level you will need a spirit level to do this and put it running side to side and get it level then do it front to back and get it level on getting it level the noise should stop if the noise dont stop then it is probably just a noisy motor there is nothing you can do about this as they sometimes are noisy but if noise stops when you open door then the unit is probably not level and opening the door balacnes the weight distribution and levels the unit and therfore stops the sound i would try balancing the unit first or make sure it is not touching anything else hope this solves oyur problem good luck...........................
