Try replacing the fuse by one with same voltage and rating. Usually if you take a look at paperwork that came with the mixer it will show you which fuse you should use.

Noise , sounds like ungrounded, all the cables are fine , the connection is grounded

so its a buzzing noise. are your turntables grounded? some dont have to be. the buzzing could be several things feedback from something around you or the mixer is buzzing cause of to much power. just mess around w stuff your not gonna break it. and what i mean about that is more wires check wires. dont preform open heart surgery on your equptment. sometimes the buzzing means the faders are going i own 3 vestax mixers and on my pmc 17a right before the faders went i had massive buzzing sound.

Hello, I need assistance with my vestax pcv002 mixer. i need to replace the power cord since it has gone missing. Can i get just any generic DC15-A power adaptor or not? the proper vestax ones are much...

Provided the store which sells the universal type guarantees the voltage and current factor as available on the original Vestax, you can proceed to buy the type.
Also the product must be a good one to work without heating or have reduced life due to poor quality.

Power cord get really hot.

If mixer is working properly, check the rating of the adapter versus what the unit requires. Some sites indicate this requires a 12 volt adapter rated at 1.2 amps.

Had m mixer unplugged not in use for about 4 days and when I turned it on line 1 phono1 ans mic1 only output through the right channel.. all the rest of the channels are fine any ideas?

if it was unplugged then not much could go wrong, unless you have small kids around the house, so maybe you should check the panning pots to see if they have been changed.

Need to change the fuse in a vestax pmc

Sorry, since the mixer is powered by a "wall wart" adapter, it is UNLIKELY there are fuses in the unit.

If it is inoperative, then check the voltage of your power adapter. If you by chance connected a wrong adapter, try the correct one. It is possible damage was done in this case that is not so easily fixed as changing a fuse. The correct adapter looks to be a type AC14 which LOOKS to be a 15 volt DC, 500 ma, with negative on the pin.

Wrong voltage

assuming that its meant for a 110 outlet then you may want to check the internal fuse the high volatge would have blown the fuse before doing any real damage good luck!

Likely a power supply problem. Will require service. If uses external pwoer cube, try a replacement of correct rating and polarity.
