SOURCE: Can't get sound from the wireless subwoofer
I had the same problem and it turned out that the directions are very unclear. You need to not only press the ID/SET button on the wireless system, but also on the wireless subwoofer itself. That solved my problem.

Hello Pamaral,
I have seen this problem a few times on the panasonic models and for some reason they fail quicker than they should. If your system is still under warranty you should send it in for service. If it is not, it would probably be a bit cheaper to go to a local repair shop and get an estimate as to the cost of replacing the defective IR sensor rather than sending it to panasonic where you will have to pay shipping and handling charges plus their parts and labor (which is like taking your car to a dealership for repairs and much more expensive than a local repair shop). Hope this helps and let me know if you need further assistance.

I figured out, unlike all the other posts, you don't have an enter button. But Instead, you would hit the 2 and OK button at the same time for a few seconds. I had the RC1 message and I did the 1 with OK and it worked. so if you have RC2, you should hit the 2 and OK. Should work!!
