Question about Motorola Mobility V710
Had the same problem/same symptoms, just after it started to get stiff in the hinge and make the sound of wires being "crinkled." When I inspected it closely, I could see that the left hinge has excessive play, i.e., it's loose. I expect to remove the screen and find that the hinge/connector assembly went bad, put stress on some of the wires (or allowed enough play for a connector to lose firm contact), and killed the video. I replaced mine, used Motorola Mobile Phone Tools software to pull off all the data, and let it be. Best of luck.
