Question about Computers & Internet
I have just installed windows 7 everything is working all updates are installed but i have no sound either onboard or plug in. i have spent ages trying to find the problem but to no avail. please help.
What was the original OS? It's a common problen when you do a OS upgrade. You didn't provide your Make, Model of laptop or the original OS?

try this >> when you turn on your pc press f8 then choose "last known good configuration"

plz try by downloading the latest sound driver if the problem is not solved then your sound hardware is faulty, plz replace it

try unplugging the power to your modem where your internet comes in. leave it unplugged for about 45 sec the plug it back in. hope it works

right click on the speaker icon in the bottom toolbar select
playback devices should be a green tick in the speakers if not right click select configure also check the communications tab make sure the are not muted
