I have cord available for this model.
A replacment cord can be bought at a local hardware store, however, you
must make sure that the wire size is proper for the 1500 watt unit.

The new roaster ovens have a cord that is hardwired into the base. This became necessary for safety reasons. However, if you are lucky enough to have a very old one, cords that fit can be purchased at local hardware stores. They are larger than coffee pot cords but are very similar in design. Those plug in to a receptacle recessed in the base. If the cord is hardwired into the base, you will need to provide the expert that helped you with the information he requested. Thanks again for using

Do I need to put water under the roaster pan?

Under the pan or inside the pan?

If it is a covered roaster no you don't need to. I put about half a cup of water in the pan to keep some moisture inside there at the start of cooking.

I did a search for your oven on the internet, and I did not get ANY hits!

Perhaps this unit is very old?
I sympathize with your need for a toaster oven, and your wisdom in not investing in a brand new oven at this time-

How about visiting the Good Will Store locally-- perhaps you can find a suitable used oven there that will tide you over, until the remodel job is done?

I have Toast-R-Oven TRO200 and it just stop working. The light indicating the toaster or oven is being used does not come on.I plug it into other working outlet and it is still not working.

You probably have a switch in the oven that has failed or a broken wire. These are basically the only reason it wont come on. The best bet is if it is old buy a new one or see how much it would cost to repair. Usually the cost to repair is almost as much as the cost of a new one and getting parts can sometimes take two or more weeks.

Faberware T4850 convection/broil oven

Hi budluco
Happy to help you!!
This is very dangerous and could hurt someone or cause a fire!
Unfortunately if this oven is that old you can buy a new one for the same or less than repairing it!

I am happy to assist you!
