I believe there is a fuse on the left side front under the front panel about a foot from the top of the washer.

Hi

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the bottom of the unit, after this test the door switch assembly, if the door switch is also fine then the control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Why does my dryer smell like rotten cabbage?

I would suspect your "green" concoction got into the lint that "lives" inside the machine. Unbeknown to you, dryers have a lot of lint inside that is never cleaned, it just builds up.
In the last 20 dryers I have repaired, about 10 had a shoe-box or two full of lint inside.
Perhaps the mixture you added made mildew or mold accidentally in the lint nest.
Also, if you are in a complex and you'all have shared exhaust, perhaps it is someone elses problem.
You could take your dryer completely off the circuit and close off the "shared" vent system.
Then , see if that makes any difference.
I suppose you could also try to run your dryer inside your condo for 5 minutes to see if the smell is coming from your dryer when it is not hooked up to anyone elses.
If the smell is from yours, you will need to completely dismantle your machine to get every trace of lint and smell out.
God bless your efforts.

I just moved into an apartment and have a Bosch front load washer and dryer. I'm not sure if I'm putting the soap, bleach and fabric softener in the correct trays . There are three slots and I

I am not sure of the dispenser trays but if the clothes are taking to long to dry and are still damp, check the vent hose and the duct work going out the apartment for lint buildup.

After moving dryer to new apartment, worked at first but now won't turn on

Did you check the power source? You could have popped a breaker (or fuse) if the dryer circuit in the new apartment is inadequate. Might have been good for one shot, then no more.

Admiral Model: LATA100AAW washer, what kind of maintenance I should be aware of? I just moved to the house which already had this washer,I would like to be pre-cautious.

Hello,
Pretty much their is no maintiance required on the washer. However ,the dryer could be taken apart and clean all lint inside of it and also clean the venting all the way to the outside& and the grill should be removed off of the refrigerator and clean the dust from it. The dryer could be done yearly and the refrig. should be dusted 2 times per year.

Dryer is about 5 years old. Has begun to squeak loudly when clothes begin to spin

Are you comfortable taking the dyer apart? There are just a few simple screws to remove. It sounds like a bad blower wheel. If you follow the link you should be able to trouble shoot the issue.

It is not really a problem. I am wondering if I want to transport our stackable washer/dryer ...(moving it to our cottage) can it be flpped on its side? or will this do it some damage? Can it be taken...

Good Morning; Thanks for your question. The easiest way to move and transport your unit, is to separate them. Go around back of the unit. Where the top unit sits on the bottom, there are two lockdown brackets, one on the right and one on the left. Remove and save. Slide top unit back until front feet are released from front brackets. Then you can lift off. Note, it probably will take two of you for the lifting. It is best, that you not lay them on their sides. Hope this helps and have a good day.

How can I drain the front loading washer before I move?

You might try turning off your water supply faucets and then run the washer enough times to empty it. I am not a repair professional. I am a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the washer or dryer ID doesn't mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and found that more than 4,700 people were asking for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer repair of my own and at that time I found an excellent video which showed me how to take my machine apart. This video made it possible for me to do my own repair. If you are repairing a dryer or a front load washer I suggest you
go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good step by step trouble shooting and repair information on both washers and dryers as well as other appliances. If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart this video is an early christmas present. I was so impressed with it that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about it. If you look at the back of your washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video is just what you need. You can see it at www.acmehowto.com You will probably still need help in determining what the trouble is and how to fix it. After viewing the video or if you have a v-belt drive rather than a direct drive, I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good
trouble shooting and repair nformation on most
washers and dryers. I think you'll find what you need
there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever
go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

Leaking faucet

The faucet is slowing wearing out. You can live with this little drip or have a repair kit installed in the faucet. If you are handy you can do this yourself.
You must be sure to get the repair kit that matches your faucet. good luck
