Question about Nokia 7373 Cellular Phone
My Nokia 7373 was dropped. Now when it powers up the screen displays 2 VERY thin vertical lines, 1 magenta and 1 green. There is no "startup" sound and no calls can be made. I have checked the ribbon conections to the LCD and all seems ok. Is this problem likely to be the LCD or something more serious. If it was just the LCD that was broken surely I would still get sound and the phone would still be able to make a call.
Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
Your broken display might shortcut your phone,
making it unaccessible with the broken display in place.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
