Raising handle bars

Should be a set screw or release on the frame where the handlebar stem inserts into the frame. Lossen the connection and with a friend if necessary push down on the frame and pull up on the handelbars to rise the stem. You might need to spray some lubricant where the stem fits into the frame.

Steering too lose

From the images I have seen of the bike the loose steering could be resolved by tightening the allen screw (hex key) in the goose neck. If you were sitting on your bike and looking at the handle bars, just below where the handle bars adjust, pivot forward or back, there is an allen head bolt going down. Tightening up this bolt should tighten your steering. Some bikes have a standard bolt headed bolt to tighten the steering. Good luck!

Raleigh tora bike pedal removal, i got the pedal off how do i remove the inner bar

You have to either buy a crank arm removal tool, or take it to a bike shop. There is no other way. I recommend using your local bike shop since they charge very little for this, and you can easily ruin the bike without some experience with the tool.

I have a new set of handle bars how do i fix them on to my raleigh bike

Sweetheart, it is hard to answer without seeing your exact situation by photograph, for instance. There are so many "Raleigh" bikes nowadays. If your new bars are exactly the same as the old, a simple visit to the hardware store, if you have one, or a bike shop, will tell you what tools you need. I once knew a chipmonk who could chip wood with its teeth, grin. But I never met a chipmonk who could turn screws or bolts by mere wish-power. Tools are needed, and a friendly adviser. Good luck, and look, for most things are answered by looking closely at them.

How doe the band on my chain break attach to my chainsaw mine is broken and i do not know how to install it. or how to get the clutch off so i can replace it

It can be a little tricky!

If you are referring to chain break band

Tools you will need:
1/2 Socket (to remove bar nuts)
T25(torq) or you can use a Flathead screw driver but is a little harder.

Remove 2 bar nuts,Clutch cover, bar, chain, 2 screws on black bar handle right behind clutch cover(this is needed because there is a hidden screw there for the chain break) You will need a new chain brake (my guess is that it is part # 530071893 aprox $15) but you will want to verify that with your model number.

You should see the chain break assembly, 3 - T25 screws are visible after the clutch cover is removed(note sometimes you have to clean saw dust to make screw head visible) the other T25 screw is hidden under the black bar handle. Once you remove all 4 screws on the chain brake you will be able to pull it off.

Installing the new one is the tricky part because if it is set(or break is on) you will have a hard time putting it on.One of the easiest ways is to focus on it near the muffler you will see that a metal 3 pronged gear fits into the plastic part of the chain break handle.and if the band is too tight to fit over the clutch drum you will have to carefully reset it by applying pressure onto the area that has the 3 pronged gear and chain break handle make sure that the handle is pushed forward all the way while you apply pressure then slowly pull chain break handle back till you hear a "snap" this resets the chain brake spring and the band should now fit over the clutch drum. Now, proceed with putting back together 4 chain brake assembly screws,2 handle screws, and bar, chain, clutch cover, and 2 bar nuts.

Please note it is important that you apply quite a bit of pressure onto chain break area where metal (3 pronged) gear fits into handle while resetting or when you reset it the metal part can cut into and damage the plastic piece in the chain break handle.

You can see a breakdown here:

Hope this helps!

How do you adjust the handle bars on a Raleigh venture 4.0 bike

You should take it back to your dealer and let him adjust it for you. I do not know if you are trying to raise your bar or tip it closer to you. If, you try to raise it, remember that it has to be in the top tube at least 2 1/2 to 3 inches inserted, there is a safety mark, DO NOT GO ABOVE IT, BECAUSE IT CAN SNAP OFF. All bicycles are metric and to tip it towards you just loosen the bracket that goes around the bar, to raise is usually a metric allen, but again unless you know what you are doing have someone do it that can do it right.

Right hand handle bar has slight movement

Are the forks bent in any way? slight dents will cause bars to not tighten as will over tightening the allens on the bars. Remove the allen clamps that go around the fork and check for damage. If you need to remove be careful as to how you remove throddle cable and grip. Allens or screws and label. Then you can raise the bar over the end of fork. My bet would be a striped tread or dent and not the drop bar.
