How do i find out what year my ford 2300 was made

The Model Design digit is the 3rd digit in the part number. It identifies the intended model for the part.It consists of mostly a letter but with some car models a number replaces the letter.
Most parts are designed for more then one model application. They are generic Model Design digits like A O or S. These generic digits make the part universal and/or specific to a body type.
Take this example, C8OE-9510-D is a 1968 Carburetor designed for 390 motor with Fairlane body type. But this was not designed exclusively for the Fairlane application alone as the carburetor was also used on Mustangs 390 and Cougars 390.

Where do I find the engine identification number for a 352 that is in a 66 ford custom cab pickup?

always stamped into a flat machined part of the casting of the block of the engine, front, front left edge or front right edge. Has to be readily visible to an officer of the law.

Some locations and photographs are shown here.

It would help if you had identified the guitar maker and location of the serial number. I assume it's a Yamaha, but the serial number doesn't coincide with any of the typical systems they used. The first two numbers could be the year of manufacture, but the earliest Yamaha I could find was 1966, so you may want to go direct to Yamaha and ask if they recognize the number based on the model number.Yamaha Corporation of America

How do I determine the year my GE model TFX24R was made?

Print How to Determine the Age or Manufacture Date of a GE Appliance

The manufacturing date and year is coded into the serial number of the appliance. Our serial numbers begin with two letters. The first letter identifies the month and the second letter identifies the year. The corresponding letters, months, and years are below. For example, if the serial number begins with the letters "FJ," the appliance was made in March of 1952.

Letter Month (first letter) Years (second letter) A January 2001, 1989, 1977, 1944 B -- 1945 C -- 1946 D February 2002, 1990, 1978, 1947 E -- 1969, 1948 F March 2003, 1991, 1979, 1949 G April 2004, 1992, 1980, 1950 H May 2005, 1993, 1981, 1951 J -- 1952 K -- 1953 L June 2006, 1994, 1982, 1970, 1954 M July 2007, 1995, 1983, 1971, 1955 N -- 1972, 1956 P -- 1973, 1957 R August 2008, 1996, 1984, 1958 S September 2009, 1997, 1985, 1959 T October 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1960 V November 1999, 1987, 1975 Z December 2000, 1988, 1976 AY -- 1965 BZ -- 1966 CA -- 1967 DB -- 1968 VU -- 1961 WV -- 1962 XW -- 1963 YX -- 1964

I have a 1964 ford f-100 pickup truck with a 292 engine and three speed on the calum, what other engines could i get that would bolt up the same but have more horse power?

Not 100% sure on this, but the 390 should work. How about just beefing up the 292 by adding a 4 bbl carb with a new intake? Easy to do and not expensive. You could also look into a new cam shaft that would drive some hp to the engine. Shaving the heads is also an option.
