Question about Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

I have a e-mail address on home computer and want to have e-mail come to new lap top as well. How do I do that?

What I did was put the same email icon to my email services on my
desktop computer and on my laptop,, that way if I'm on my desktop
I can access all my email services or if I'm on my laptop I can still
access the email icon, and I don't have a bit of problems accessing
my email.

open up the e-mail section
try this in the home tab go to the file tab ( tab next to message tab)and open new message
along the top bar you will see a contacts tab with add and check names
click on the add tab and that opens up select contacts to send e-mails to
that shows all the contacts with their e-mail addresses
highlight the address you want to change and up the top you will see a section edit contact
click on that and that contact details will open
here you can delete or change the address or add any other details for that contact

Which email account ?
If you currently have an e-mail address or you're thinking about getting one, you need to know how to access your account to check your messages.

Open a new browser and go to your e-mail provider's website.
To ensure that you navigate to the proper site, type your e-mail provider's URL (or website address) into the address bar at the top of the page.

Locate the "Mail" icon on the homepage.
Click on that mail icon and you will be directed to the appropriate sign-in page to access your e-mail inbox.

Provide your correct login details.
You will need to type your username/ID and password into the appropriate boxes and click the button that says "Sign In."

Click on the link that says "Inbox."
Once you click on the inbox link, you will have access to all of your messages, both old and new e-mails.

The unread mail is usually in bold, which makes it easier to identify your new messages.

Type this on the address bar of your internet explorer - www.gmail.com and try to sign in using this email address: donpam@gmail.com and check if you can sign in. Now for your other email address:donpam@newnorth.net try to go to newnorth.net and on the right side of your screen you'll see frontier mail, click on that. After clicking you'll be asked to sign in. Now try to sign in using your donpam@newnorth.net email address. You should see all your emails there after signing in. If you do there might be just some setting in your outlook express that has been changed that's why your not getting any emails. So for further assistance with checking or configuring your outlook express, try to call your ISP(internet service provider).Hope this helps.

I pod touch mail connection problem


Go to settings and turn your wi/fi on.  Then choose your network and type in your password.  Then under setting you need to go to mail, contacts, calendars and set up your e-mail account with the address and password and then at the top click account on and turn fetch new data on also.  Then hit your home button and then select the mail icon to get your mail.

You can't add a computer to DHCP Client table manually, because DHCP client table is automatic. If you wanna know the MAC address of your computer, go to Start > Run > type CMD and press enter. On the command prompt type in IPCONFIG/ALL and look for Physical Address. That is also the MAC Address of your computer.

Email


Ports make no difference, but the fact that you are accessing the email account from 2 different systems is likely the issue. If you are reading the email in outlook or outlook express on both systems, the mail is being downloaded from the server to each system and deleted from the server.

Two ways to resolve this.

1. Check email at work via webmail interface so that the items are not downloaded from the server.

OR

2. Set the email client settings to retain mail on the server.

Personally, I use option #1.

When I check my charter account on my desktop, I use outlook. From my laptops, I use www.charter.net to check that account.
