New device not found usb1 power overload

Dear inVaUSA, I followed your action and contacted 1-800-SAMSUNG but did not fare as well as you did. I was told there is not a firmware update nor a patch to fix the "New Device Not Found USB1 Power Overload" even after I read your post to the support representative I was dealing with. She told me that it is a PlayStation issue even though I have never connected any USB device to any USB Port on my Samsung TV. Could I Please trouble you to send me the firmware update you received from Samsung `in a private message or to my email address if you prefer. Thank you!

USB Port can preform faster error message

This is because you are plugging in a USB 2 device to a standard USB port, or a USB 3 device into a USB 2 port. The computer is just telling you that if you upgrade the hardware, the device will work faster. Its more of an information message than an error. Your device should still function fine.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 7900 camera I purchased used. It came without the proper USB cord, so I purchased one separately. When I attached the camera to the USB port of my computer (and I've tried...

I'm afraid that USB port has been damaged and is drawing excessive current causing the error message. You are at least fortunate in that your computers' ports are protected since the camera could have otherwise caused damage. Using a basic multimeter one could probably measure across the pins 1 & 4 to determine if the camera's input is shorted; it should in no case measure less than 5-6 Ohms regardless of lead polarity. The current capability of a USB port varies by version but is between 500 & 900 Milliamperes.

I just bought the NetGear wireless adapter today. the process runs smoothly until it asks me to hook the wireless adapter. A box pops up stating "detecting wireless adapter" it stays like that...

It looks like your NetGear WNA3100 is dead out of the box.
The software looks like it operating correctly (runs the installed diag, tries to detect, etc.), but
the software isn't having any luck finding the hardware.
The reason that the adapter is disabled in Device Management, is that the software seems
to have correctly installed the driver, but Windows couldn't detect (plug & play) the device, so
Windows didn't enable the device driver - Windows won't load a driver for a non-existent device.
Other (remote) possibilities:
(a) Wi-Fi adapter plugged into a bad USB port. - try another port.
(b) there's a little corrosion on USB contacts of USB port or WNA3100. Try plugging adapter
in and out of the port a few times (this shines up the contacts a bit).
(c) there's a slight misalignment of contacts within the USB connector or either the laptop, or
the WNA3100.
Your fix may be returning the NetGear WNA3100 to the retailer for an exchange.

My a4tech pk-635M is not working with windows7 operating system, how can I fix this problem.

Have you installed the driver for the device yet? If not, go to this page & click on "Driver for PC" & follow the installation instructions.

If you've already done this before, just uninstall the current driver installation, re-download the file and reinstall it. If the issue persists, try a different USB port and as a last resort, test the camera on a different computer.

This device should have no problems working with Windows 7 unless there's something wrong with it.

BAD News.
Usually the USB Port is a part of the Mother Board on a PC and the replacement of the Mother Board is the only solution.
You can find them on the internet at Ebay and other locations. BUT it is very involved to replace.

If you have one good USB Port, Get an adapter that will allow multiple inputs.

Example:

Question 2. I do not know. On most PC's two are horizintal and two are vertical.

hi there!

with that error message "USB Decive Not Recognized", it means that there might be something wrong with the usb cable you're using or the usb port on your pc. try connecting it to a different usb port. if its the same thing, try using another usb cable.
