Question about Magix Music Studio 2005 Deluxe for PC

Recording do not sync up

I know this has to be a computer problem. I had this program installed on an other computer and it ran fine. Now I have it installed on a Dell Vostro 1000 AMD mobile Sempron processor. The problem is that when I record a track the object does not synchronize up with the metronome or any other previous track. It seems to slow after a 3 or 4 measures. I tried adjusting the sample rate but that still dosen't seem to help. The sound driver I have is sigma tel but I recently bought an external sound driver creative media source sound blaster because I couldn't get playback through my headphones as I recorded.

I have exactly the same problem, and it's really ennoying.

I think it has indeed something to do with sound/video quality.

I'm just hoping the problem will clear once I have bought a better sound card.

1rst- Maybe you choose the incorrect metronome. On analog audio record use your default audio card metronome and on MIDI audio record, use MIDI metronome!
2nd- Check your memory video card & remember your computer speed is as fast as the lowest speed component on it.
Pardon my poor English!!!!

Good luck!!!

Confusion on Backing up app data before the first sync.

If all of you info from your iTunes account is on your new computer, then you are safe. The program will erase the existing old data from the iPad and then sync it with the new computer and data. If you are unsure you can back up your PC and iTunes content first. I use an online backup service for all those just in case's. I can easily retrieve all my info. You can get free back for you PC here http://goo.gl/3VahX I hope this helps.

New computer running Windows 7. Print Master Platinum will not open. Is there a fix? Ran fine with XP.

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and select the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website.

I have an American Greetingts CreataCard program I bought several years ago. Just tried to download it on my Windows 7 computer and it said it was not compatible. When I had it on my old computer it was...

There may be a workaround or two. First, Win7 wants a different installer. Try running the installer in a Compatability mode (right click on the exe, choose properties, click on the Compatability tab and put a check in the box for run this program in the compatability mode, use the drop down to choose the latest OS that you know will run the program, then right click again on the program and choose run as administrator). If your new computer uses 64-bit Win7, this is even less likely to work. Microsoft needs signed files in 64-bit. Do the same compatability with the program if it installs.

If that doesn't work, try installing a virtual computer with an OS that runs the program in your Win7 machine (The free XP mode is available in Win7 Pro and Ultimate. It takes two downloads from Microsoft to install the computer and then install the program as if the XP mode was the only computer.)

Otherwise, upgrade the program. (The Microsoft compatability center gives information pending on the program.)

I hope this helps.

Sonar 4 and midi sound cuts offat start of playback

If you are recording from bar 1 at time 1.00 you might want to start recording one or two bars later. So try starting your song on bar three istead of bar 1

Delay

if i understand it right, you recorded for example 2 tracks. recorded A then recorded B then you synced them together? if so, my bet would be adjusting the volume for each giving them balance. your master volume is your guide on this. hope this works.

Timing problem!! help needed badly!

Your solution is to delay or speed up the sound that your running thru to your computer. The reason why they put user recording latency under the options then preferences then audio settings is not because this never happens or isn't know about. If your sound is too late in the track you have to re-record the track with a higher number try about 125-160. A hint is to play some notes to the beat, check to see that you are in time, then record what you are planning to record.

Reintalling adobe cs3

Remove your previous adobe cs3 installation first. Go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs. Click Adobe CS3 then click Remove/Uninstall button then click OK. Reboot your computer then reinstall the Adobe CS3. If it cannot remove the previous installation, use "ccleaner" for that. Drop me a comment if you don't know what to do with ccleaner.

Problem syncing mp3's to mp3 player with Windows Media Player

This isn't necessarily a solution, but:
Within WMP, I believe under Help, Check for Updates. Won't hurt.

Depending on your media player ... you say generic, but there's surely a brand ... you may find it "mounted," like a CD or hard disk, within your My Computer section. On my dad's Sansa, for example, you can directly copy over music files, but videos have to be converted in a certain way. There's a default structure -- that is, there's a folder for podcasts, a folder for music, a folder for movies, whatever.

Without knowing the specifics of your device, it's tough to give a good answer. Try checking for updates, and if that doesn't do anything, then see if you can get at the drive deliberately and start copying over your files yourself.
