Question about Boston Acoustics TVee Model Two TV Speakers
Tvee 26 background noise ( music, tires squealing etc) overtake the speaking voices, so you up the volume and that just makes things worse. Most annoying while watching tv shows. If you are watching a movie, you expect the background to be big as life and the tvee 26 does this well. I really just want to improve the quality of the sound over the speakers on my samsung tv. is there a way to do this, or is there a product to do this what will happen if i disconnect the sub woofer.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The sound bar system was not adequately tested before release and it's obvious. The sub seems to disconnect and reconnect randomly. This also happens when the bar is off. It makes a large bassy pop every so often when it shuts down. It's woken me up at night when it decided to turn on and off. Occasionally I have to power cycle the sub or even change the frequency in order to re-establish a wireless connection. All of this is an occasional occurrence and poses more of an annoyance than anything. It's crappy to have to say that "It works most of the time." It's too bad because the concept is fantastic, and now I question the quality of Boston Acoustics.

SOURCE: i have the tvee soundbar
It is not latching on to the soundbar transmitter. Is the locked light on the device turning on.
Wireless devices are sometimes known to drift. Is the sub silent when the soundbar power is off ?. Even then if its making this sound, the subwoofer amplifier is oscillating at very low frequency. You will need professional help and needs to be repaired.

SOURCE: Have a BA TVee 25
I had this same problem and it was due to their instructions which do not adequately explain the setup procedure.
On my own, I was successful in programming volume up but that was all. I assumed that for volume down I would hold the power button and the VOLUME DOWN button and wait for the flashing light just as I had for volume up. Problem is, you never get a flashing light.
Today, I spoke with a rep from Boston Acoustics who patiently explained that step one of the instructions has to be done the same way each time as it is the step that puts the soundbar into programming mode.
It is only at step 2 that things change.
The solution is to hold the power button and the Volume Up button every time in order to get the system into programming mode. Once the light is flashing, in order to program Volume Down, you then hold the Volume Down button until the light goes solid. Once the light goes solid, then press the volume down button on your remote 4 times slowly. Works like a charm.
Works the same way to program the mute button. Follow step one to get the unit in programming mode. Once the light is flashing, hold down only the mute button until the light goes solid. When the light goes solid, press the mute button slowly 4 times.
OBTW, this was programmed with a Logitech Harmony 650 remote unit.
