Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Occasionally, during either gameplay, movie playing, or even just while I'm not playing anything but my PS3 is on, there are black screen flashes. Actually, let me replace the word "occasionally" with "VERY frequently" and continue. It is EXTREMELY frustrating and ruins every PS3 experience I attempt to enjoy. Watching movies equates to only being able to see 2/3 of the film because the flashes come at a rate of about once a minute and last for 1-2 seconds, sometimes in bursts (multiple flashes). Every time I play a game, I have to stop what I'm doing every minute and allow the PS3 to **** itself before rushing to get my next uninterrupted minute of gameplay in. This is no way for a person who paid hundreds of dollars for "modern technology" to live. I use an HDMI cord (cheap one, though. Could that be a possible problem? Because I'm not buying the "get a Sony-approved HDMI cord for $110" ****, so Sony can screw me over and take a little more from my wallet...) with it and I really don't wanna hear the "TV syncing problem" or "switch ends of the cord around" ****. Don't send me a link to youtube where I watch some guy fix some problem that has nothing to do with mine. And I don't wanna hear the "use the composite or component cables or switch to 720p" stuff either. Why? Because this is the age of technology, and we deserve to take advantage of electronical advances. If companies are gonna sell electronics like this, they can at least work out the **** problems OR release updates that fix the problem. I paid for a PS3, an HDTV, and an HDMI cord. I gave a lot of my money to them, the least they could do in return is give me my money's worth. And basically, I just want a concrete answer. NOT a temporary fix or a downgrade to my electronics. I MUST be person # 3,679 to complain about this black screen flash ****, is there anybody out there? Does anybody who works for Sony hear us? Does anybody give a ****? It's sad that a PS1, yes, an original Playstation, is more reliable than the "wave of the future" gaming consoles. There must be a hero or **** out there who knows how to fix this. Please contact me before I revert back to playing Pong on Atari. At least Pong doesn't have black flashes...
Ok do not worry this may mean two things crached hard drive or a corrupted hard drive all you have to do is turn it on but let the red ligth be on turn it on do not remove your finger from the button until it go's off again turn it on again keep your finger until it makes a sound but still do not remover your finger untill it makes two sounds after eachouther take your finger of fast nou a screen will apear say restore sestem untill your ps3 works again it take 1-4 trys and if nothing happens you must format it.HOPE I WAS USEFULL PLZZ RATE ME AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELS EMAIL ME TO firstname.lastname@example.org I DO PS1,2,3,DVD PLAYERS AND PC sorry for my spelling i am only 13 and i afrikaans BUT PLZZZ RATE ME.i have the same question does anybody give a ****?
