Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Several times a day, when I try to send text messages, it will tell me "Cannot send message... Code 34" or "Code 97" and to contact customer care. I've contacted my service provider and the Samsung help desk several times. They cannot help me. I've done a master reset on my phone and taken the battery out and restarted it several times. That doesn't help either. Can someone please tell me why my brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 is doing this and how to stop it??

Unfortunately, if your phone is only showing you the screen that displays THAT particular message (PUK code is blocked, please contact your service provider.), then you're in the same situation I'm in. I've contacted Net10 and spoke with someone in Tech Support and the solution they gave was to have my SIM card replaced with a new one they would send to me by mail. I laughed at the woman I was speaking with on the phone and told her that this will be the last time I lose EVERY bit of information on my phone (i.e.:personal reminders, text messages, personal downloads/files, and most of all, every single phone number (that I never bothered to make a backup copy of), because of a "defective SIM card" THEY sold me! Not once...not twice...but three times!!! After that, I hung up on her. So now I'm searching The Internet for another possible solution and if by chance I come across something that does the trick, I'll be sure to put it up in a new post. =]

since you master reset the phone it may erase everything on the phone even the settings installed, you have to consult your service provider to re configure your network settings.

You will need to contact the service provider for further assistance. There is nothing personally that you can do to the phone to make it work. Sounds like they will need to program the phone or your plan to include text messaging.

I've had that before too...after i waited a while it would finally send. Now I'm getting an "invalid address" error when I got over 140 characters...

most probably you have disabled the CLI thing. In which your cell tries
to prevent your number being shown to the person you are calling.
It is usually under Network settings, or Call settings (CLI/Show my number/Send my Number).
