The problem with the SONIQ L32V11 A/B/C with built in or without DVD players is the Power Save mode. This will be from the Main PCB . The power supply/Inverter Pcd is not faulty. Can be fixed by just a small mod. Here is what you have to do go to CN 4 this is a plug with 4 wires from the Power supply to the main PCB. Look at the marking on the Power PCB says Adjust/ cable marked by xxx. Trace this to the main board .Cut the wire xxx close to the plug on the main board.( xxx ) now solder this direct to center Pin of the 3.3v Reg Ic . IC number U37. This mod will over ride the voltage change in power save mode.BINGO your TV will work as good as NEW. If not sure what to do go to my web site will be happy to help all you guys out and save land fill.www.viewclearvision.com.au

This is most likely a component failure on the inverter or the power supply.

SOURCE: no sound on sharp aquos LC32D6U

The problem is the silicone grease under the audio IC has melted and is shorting the audio circuit. To fix this, you'd have to clean the melted residue off the audio IC. It is a complicated job and I suggest calling your local Authorized Sharp service center to do this repair.

SOURCE: Television has sound but no picture

You can try unplugging the tv and wait for a couple minutes and then plug it back in... I just did this and now the television works again.

SOURCE: I have a two year old high def LG Plasma TV Model

The problem with plasmas is that this problem can be caused by four or more circuit boards. You have to check alot of different things to isolate which board is the problem. The unit should be taken to a repair shop because the voltages inside are "Dangerous". This can be expensive to fix, price ranges from $100-$300 a board, plus labor.

I can get a picture on my TV but it's all snowy

This could be due to a loose plug or deterioration of the aerial cable or a bad connector. Since I don't know where your aerial comes from I can't be more specific but
Have the antenna cable checked or try the tv on someone else's antenna. Snowy pictures are usually caused by a poor aerial signal (aerial = antenna),

I have a 32" RCA LCD tv , rlc3210 power input says

Is it hooked up with HDMI cable?

If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.

Durabrand 13' DU1301 TV problem: I can barely see the picture or hear anything because of intermittant snow. Sometimes the picture will roll as if we are back in the 70s. When I turned the tv on its...

Hello
The fault you describes is due to low signal strength. If tuner of the said TV is faulty, this type of snow interference will occur too. Just check for good firm connection to its antenna terminal. If it is Ok, check the continuity of the cable used with antenna. Check the orientation of yagi antenna if used outside. If all are OK, and nothing help you, just replace its tuner with same type and number. Tuner is a small metal box type component can be seen soldered directly to the main printed circuit board inside. Usullay, its one terminal will come out as antenna IN of the TV, to which you connects the external antenna or cable. You must have a concept of soldering and desoldering to replace it, and must have a knoledge in electronics too. OK.

32" 32lc7d after a few minutes, flickers, then goes dark.

There are no fans in this model but it looks like either the backlights in the screen are breaking down after they have warmed up or a problem in the inverter board, again part of the driver circuit breaking down after a period of time. They inverter boards can sometimes be replaced seperatly but usually come with a new screen which if the backlights are at fault then the screen would need to be replaced.

Sounds like U have an antenna or feeder problem. Get it checked out/ check it out. If in a strong signal area, try a simple indoor antenna for comparison. If in a marginal reception area, it could be your antenna is inadequate.

TV picture flickers

If your DVD player is separate from your tv, you might have a loose cable plug or connection. Depending on the type of flicker you have, a vertical circuit loose connection would cause this. If you could connect it to a cable or antenna it might tell you where the problem is located. A faulty circuit in the DVD might cause this too. Stargazer

Split screen from DVD player, cable is fine no problem

It is not clear where you say input is from cable, do you mean the Scart input to your Sony TV? Do not use Progressive scan(p), as this is not interlaced. The normal TV requires an interlaced(i) picture of 50 half frames per second giving 25 complete pictures per second to reduce flicker. Some TVs and projectors and all monitors accept Progressive scan.
