Question about Heating & Cooling
Pilot is lit, but when unit kicks on, again stays on for about 30 secs and then it cuts back off. There are no fault codes.
It could be you need to clean the flame censor , check air filter is clean , clean pilot it could be blocked .Check hoses to pressure afr tight and not spilt .

The pilot orifice could be dirty causing the pilot flame to be too small. Unscrew the pilot tube at the pilot assembly. The orifice is inside. Remove the orifice and blow it out with compressed air only. Reassemble and see if that fixes the problem. If the pilot flame is set too low, sometimes opening a door will cause a draft to blow out the pilot. If the thermocouple is good and the pilot flame is set properly, the control valve may be bad.

SOURCE: Torpedo heater wont stay lit.
Do you have the serial number or the manufacture date? There are some design changes and I would need to know the year of manufacture to assist accurately. Usually it is a relay or the thermocouple connection that will affect the unit staying lit.

Go to www.grainger.com and look for a "power pile generator" this is a millivolt thermocouple that may be just what you need to make your heater work again
