I have samix AC, it does not heat properly.sometimes it doesnot heat at all. sometimes it heat to a certain limit and then start cooling. sometimes it heat to the required tempreture (24) for example

AC temperatures are controlled by thermostats, mechanical or electronic, As per your question it does work some times means thermostat is working some times. Please spray contact spray in thermostat, or replace thermostat. BTU (BRITISH THERMAL UNIT) denotes cooling capacity of AC.

How do I eplace a heating element on a GE 7500 galwh dryer

It's pretty straight forward: The replacement element will have two wires and two wire caps. Try to keep wire lengths the same as you find them. Use wire ties if need be... where you might find them already being used. Always unplug a unit when working on it. Turn off gas when it's being serviced also. When you ask a question here. Be more specific. I'm wondering if you also know where to look... Good luck!

Fan runs alot and the laptop over heats and shuts down

keep your notebook well ventilated (there are vent grills at bottom that ned to be kept ditanced from the notebook to the flat hard surface where you place the notebook. Also, try to clean the fan , by removing bottom cover : use air can to blow away dust - clean the fan. If the system has never been cleaned before, i can assure you there is mounds of duct inside , especially on the fins of the heatsink fan that cools your CPU and video card. I would also suggest getting air compressor to blow away the dust , if there is too much of it inside. YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THE FAN unit . You can otherwise , go to teh BIOS set up nad reduce the fan speed.

My Vornado VH2 heater stops heating several moments after switching on. The fan runs but no heat. The heating elements never get hot but all the wiring appears to be firmly in place. The tilt shutoff...

A big problem with these heaters ans well as others is the motor driving the fan. The bearings get stiff from dirt and do not spin fast enough activating the over temp device of the heating element. Check the motor out by placing the unit in fan mode them pull the plug or turn off looking at the fan to see how many revolutions is makes with no power applied. It should rotate like five times or more indicating freeness. If it hals to a stop immediately after power is removed the motor bearings are tight.
If your handy you take apart and oil the shafts using 3inone motor lube. Clean the motor of dust and dirt drop a few drops on the shafts near the bearings then work it in by hand rotating the blades. Do this a few times reassemble then ler ripp!!!

I have a Vornado TVH600. The heating coil does not heat up; the fan is working. The heater has only been used for a couple of hours--worked fine and then one day simply stopped heating.

Sounds like you got a lemon. Contact Vornado Customer Service - the TVH600 comes with a 5 year warranty that covers all costs associated with replacing or repairing the heater. They even pay for shipping costs as long as the unit is still under warranty. Just give the rep the serial number on the bottom of your product. The number is 1-800-234-0604. When you call, you'll actually get a real person, and the support team is very pleasant and helpful. Good luck with your heater!

Vornado VH2 heater appears to switch on, but fan and heating element no longer come on. Any solutions?

For some reason the re-set system had clicked off. Unplugged the unit for a while, and when plugged back in it was working once again.

Does not turn on

This is a pretty common issue with these heaters. The switch can easily be replaced by opening the unit and swapping out the switch assembly. One switch I have found that works well and is reatively inexpensive (under $4) is the one from Radio Shack (P# 275-0020) which is a 16A 125VAC illuminated round rocker switch. Unlike the OEM one that drops in, the RS one is a panel type which you will have to screw into place. The whole procedure shouldn't take you more than 15min.

I need a new on/off switch

I have the same problem with a VH Vornado heater
No need to change switch.
The switch has to sets of contacts, but uses only one. This one is burnt out

Just reconnect the black cable (hot) to the opposite free switch connector.
Then interchange the white (resistance) with the brown cable (ground for switch light)

You may have to turn around the switch because the heater will turn on on the "OFF" position

Check your cables with tester, to avoid any short circuit.
