Have Vizio E60-c3 LED TV. Picture not working, Backlights on, Audio works. Ordered Complete repair kit from Shop Jimmy.

About 99% of the boards from shipjimmy are good, unfortunately lI think you have a bad panel and its destroying the tcon board, did you check the fuse on the tcon board?

Vizio E701i. A3E. No picture but back light on. Replaced power,TCon, and mainboard. No fix

Erm, that's tough luck. Does it startup properly and produce any sounds? Check LCD's flex cable.

Possible both mainboard not OK.

Philips LCD 2008 On startup, TV would light up with "Philips" screen and then go dark with sound. Installed new TCON and it failed after 10 days. Bad luck or something causing TCON boards to fail?

If your screen is blank with sound, first test the screen with flash light. If you can see the picture, the back light is faulty. if it is fluorescent, replace it. If the back light is LEDs, check power supply board might be the supply voltage to the back light fails after few seconds due to faulty components especially bulging capacitors.

I have sound but no picture. what could be wrong?

You should always check the voltages supplied by the power supply. A loss of power to the tcon board will prevent it from working properly.

Samsung LCD TV 22inc Model No LA22A450C1, no picture ( white screen) only sound....

This type of failure is related to a defective Tcon board. I would suggest if you are DIY to check for proper connections from the main board to the Tcon board, if all the connections are good.. check for proper voltage from the power supply to the Tcon board. If all the previous checks are good, check for an open fuse on Tcon board.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Westinghouse ltv-46w1hd has a black screen but has sound

If you have the back lights on but no picture.. the failure is in the Tcon board. I would suggest to measure the fuse in the Tcon board labelled as CP1 or check for 12 volts on one side of the fuse (VIN) and then on the other side. If the voltage is absent on the IN test point, that means the fuse is open.
If troubleshooting at the component level is difficult, I would suggest to replace the Tcon board.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

My 36'' Toshiba televisions picture keeps going fuzzy then if you turn it off and on the picture comes back on. Also when watching movies we lose the picture but hear the sound. Once again if I turn off...

I would start with the Tcon but the main would do this as well, along with the power board...test the voltages coming from the ps board when its giving issues and see if they are ok, if they are try the tcon board

This could be 1 of a few things here. Without opening up your set and trying to look at voltages or indiciator lights I couldn't tell you exactly without some more info.

Without looking at it myself here are my thoughts and where I would first look at.

It may be a main board because:
1) Main board processes all your audio/video signals. Bad main board means bad video processing. Could do that. Especially if the main board is not sending the right signal or a bad signal to the rest of the boards so they don't do their jobs.

It may be a power supply because:
1) Power supply is well, the power supply. If it's sending inadaquete voltage to the main board you may not be recieving enough juice to keep that main board doing your video processing or further up the line keeping enough juice flowing to your TCon board to keep it telling things where to go and what to do. The power supply sends voltages to your Ballast board(controls your lights) and to your main board through which power is supplied to your TCon board via a LVDS line and a +12/+16V signals. If the power supply isn't pumping out enough juice to keep the TCon or Main Board running, it could be a problem. By the same token it could be that your P/S isn't sending power out to your ballast board.

It could be a TCon because:
1) If the TCon is bad, you won't get your pictures. This could be the TCon board itself or the LVDS cable from your TCon to your Main. However, with few exceptions, if it's a bad TCon you're looking at a total panel replacement.

It could be a ballast board because:
1) The Ballast Board controls the lighting behind the LCD screen. If this isn't working right you won't be seeing much of anything without that back lighting. If this is bad, it's a panel replacement. These are not field replaceable items by LG.

Based on the symptoms, without more data or a eyes-on view of it, I would say you're most likely looking at a Main Brd or PSU problem.
