I was using my phone that day, then someone called me when i said hi nothing happened. i hung up and nothing happened no sound. Not even the button sounds. I tried playing music recordings and it worked, so i guess that the speakers work but not the earpiece. I turned off the phone and the phone chime thingy also was playing. I turned it back on and nothing still worked. What should I do?

Problem is with your phone's speaker it is bad and needs to be either worked on or replaced. But another issue is that, something might be blocking the earpiece hole, making the phone to view the intrusion as an actual earpiece insert an earpiece to confirm that nothin is blocking it. If notin is bocking it, then take care of the faulty speaker. You could get it fixed at a local repairer's. But pending that time, if you have a handsfree device, use it to make your calls for convenience sake.
Hi, The earpiece of the phone you are using is bad. The earpiece is a small speaker inside the phone that allows you to hear when someone calls. It is collected close to where you put your ear when you are making calls.
When you replace the earpiece, the phone will work properly.
Hi, When you make calls and you people hardly you, It means that the earpiece which allows you to hear people that is located at the top of the phone if faulty and needs to be replaced with another one.
I think the problem you are experiencing has to do with the earpiece of your phone. All you need to do is to get to a phone store and replace the earpiece so that your phone can work perfectly again.
I just had this same problem. It is a hardware issue. Call verizon back
explain the situation, they will call your phone to verify that the mic
and speaker aren't working and they will send you a replacement within
A temporary solution is plugging a wired headset into the phone and taking it out, it will work for a few hours.
