SOURCE: Yoog Search engine removal

i completley removed firefox as I got rid of the yoog problem on IE8 and it kept reappearing on firefox and then back onto my IE8.
To remove 'yoog', reset your default search at the top right to google. on START at the bottom left, type in COMMAND PROMPT. on the black screen on command prompt, type in REGEDIT. This will take you to the regestry editor, go to EDIT then type in YOOG on find........... 3 codes will appear. Right click DELETE each one. Restart your computer.......... Problem solved.

How do i get rid of visualbee search engine?

it depends on what browser you're using
i only know google chrome and internet explorer
this won't uninstall it, but it will make the browser get rid of it
for google chrome, go to settings. below On Startup, it must have been checked Open a specific page or set of pages. recheck Open New Tab page.
For internet explorer, what you got to do is in the top right, there should be a Tools. Click on it, then go all the way down to Internet Options. Then click on general(if you're not there) and under Browsing history, it has a button that says delete. Click that, then it will give you some kind of list of what you want to delete. Choose Temporary Internet files, cookies, and Download history.
If you have another browser then I have no idea because I don't have other browsers.
Hope this works! (If you have Google Chrome or Internet Explorer

How Do I Remove My Web Search?

hi Crazzymandy,

Thanks for your posting in FixYa.

Please do the following:

First, uninstall the My Web Search option from Add/Remove Programs
1) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel
2) Double click on Add/Remove Programs
3) Find "My Web Search" in the list of installed programs and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it. You may also want to uninstall any of the following items associated with FunWebProducts.
· My Web Search (Smiley Central or FWP product as applicable)
· My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
· My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messengers) (beta users only)
· My Way Speedbar (Outlook, Outlook Express, and IncrediMail)
· Search Assistant - My Way
4) Reboot your Computer and run HijackThis
5) With HijackThis, scan for and fix any of the entries shown above that may be remaining.
6) Next, open My Computer, Drive C, and double-click on the Program Files folder
7) Right-click and delete the folders for:
· FunWebProducts
· MyWebSearch
8) MyWebSearch should now be completely uninstalled from your computer.
9) There will be some minor registry entries left behind by the uninstall, however these can be cleaned up by running SpyBot Search and Destroy or Ad-Aware SE or left alone.

If unable to remove from control panel, then try to remove them after rebooting PC in Safe mode..

Hope this would help you a lot.

Dont forget to rank me up.

Have a nice day.

Best of Luck & Regards
