Optical drives can use any driver loaded by Windows. Try booting in Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot. Check Device Manager and View for hidden devices. Delete any extra if not all DVD drives. Windows will auto re-install with reboot.
You could also reseat the drive.
You may have bigger problems if this does not resolve the problem.
