Question about Acer Extensa 4620 Notebook
Just bought an Acer Extensa 4620-6456 with 1MB ram (supposedly 2 512 MB) but researched it before purchase so I also bought 2 1GB DDR2 667MHz modules for an upgrade. When I opened the back I could only find 1 ram slot filled with 1 stick; also I run Belarc Advisor and it says I only have 1 slot filled with 1GB stick. I need help resolving this - do I need to return the 2 ram sticks and buy 1 2GB sticks?
According to the manual up to 4gb on two .soDIMM for model ex4220 only.SO yes. I would take them back and get one 2Gb strip. Download and read the manual first, in case I missed somethng.
