Well, when i connected with YM and invited someone to view my webcam the problem they cannot view or to see me, but them i viewed and see it clearly. could you please tell me how to fix the problem with my webcam.

To check your webcam, open messenger on the toolbar at the top >
messenger > my webcam > this should open a warning panel - read
and click 'ok'.this will launch your webcam and show you as other
people will view you. You can also use the webcam icon as a shortcut
If all is ok, when your contact is on line and you want them to see
your webcam go to toolbar > actions > invite to view my webcam.
if your contact wants you to view them they will send you an invite
click on the blue "accept"
also check your connection
>messenger>preference>connection> select no proxies - check
internet connection and country are correct >apply > ok ..
Open Yahoo Messenger
On the upper part of you yahoo messenger you will see "messenger, contact, actions & help"
Select "More Actions"
Either select View Webcam or Invite to view webcam
Or for selecting a specific webcam to work for your Yahoo Messenger"
Go to "Messenger" on the top part of YM
On the category tab, select "voice & video"
On devices go to "camera" & select your webcam that you will use.
Can be several reasons 1) Lack of resources - internet connection etc 2) Check settings

proxies' or 'connect direct to the internet' depending on the version of

Sometimes it takes a bit of juggling and I have been running on "connect via proxy" for 3 days to enable my webcam to show as 'available'
Let me give you the easy way out...try the other way round! that is INVITE HER to view your webcam and see what happens. Most probably it will work fine. I hope this was immediate enough! If still it doesn't work and it's some weird problem associated with her YM then get hold of MSN messenger and install it both of you it will work fine. One more thing check out the webcam options by clicking the webcam in yahoo messenger to see if there are some permission related options there.
