SOURCE: my blender's jar is broken, i want a new one

You might need to order one from the UK and pay delivery charges? I am based in the UK and it is tricky finding this part, but I think possible. I smashed my blender measuring jug this morning and I hope I can get a new one at viewpointdirect@aol.com - just placed an order. You don't mention a model of yours but the one I found is compatible with several makes - check out this link http://www.viewpointdirect.co.uk/philips-measuring-jug---for-use-with-hand-blenders-573-p.asp. They deliver worldwide for a reasonably high charge. Else there are some other jugs you can find, without pictures though, which might be compatible with your make, at http://www.buyspares.co.uk. Good luck!

SOURCE: KSB5600BO kitchenAid blender blades broke and l am

If the jar is the one-piece polycarbonate (plastic) jar then you will need to replace (or have KitchenAid replace if it is under Warranty) the whole jar. If it is a glass jar then only the collar with integrated blades will need replacing.

Blender glass jar is leaking at base

It will either be the rubber gasket (it goes between the glass jar and the blade assy) or it could be a worn bearing/bush around the chopping blade shaft. Replace either the gasket or the blade assy.

Leaking

Unfortunately Kitchenaid's design on those blenders is a one piece unit, over time the seals wear out and you have to replace the entire jar assembly, they usually run 40-50 dollars and can be found from several vendors.

I have a kitchen aid blender with a polycarbonate jar. The jar leaks at the blade. I noticed it has a plastic nut on the bottom with left hand threads. However the nut will not fit over the drive gear...

Older KitchenAid blenders had a jar that was made so the blade assembly could be removed for cleaning. On the newer models the blender jar and the blade assembly are all one unit so you have to purchase a new jar to get the blade assembly. All of this is dependent on which model of blender you have.

My 5 speed KSBS kitchenaid blender is stuck together (glass and underneath part that would fit into motor base.

Have a look at the pictures here.
I think you are describing the blade unit's gasket being stuck. This can happen over time and especially if bits of food get stuck and harden. Try soaking for a long time in warm soapy water then keeping applying pressure until the seal between the gasket and jar gives.

You don't need to replace the entire jar assembly. Have you tried to contact Kitchensid. They make high quality appliances and will probably send you new blades for $0.
