Bagless vacuums don't usually get clogged as easily as standard bag styles do. However, if you can disconnect the top half from the brush head section you should see a "neck" where the two meet, check there for a clog. Also check your filters, this is where loss of suction happens most. Dirty filters = Low Suction. I hope this helps

My shark navigator freestyle is clogged.

There's also a screen in the dust cup(where everything goes) mine was clogged there, just scraped the dust off it. And it stopped venting out the side.

Kenmore progressive vaccum lost suction

For the canister-style vacuum with the long hose, you can't see all the way thru it, since the plastic fittings on the ends are curved. Mine was clogged - I mean, really clogged! Others have suggested using a high-powered air compressor to blow it out, but I augured out my lint/hair/straw/other-unidentifiable-stuff clog with a manual (hand-crank) home sink/drain auger. Worked like a charm! Use a small mirror (like a dental mirror) and a flashlight to see a little ways into the hose if you want. Finally, run the auger all the way thru to make sure you push out anything you couldn't spear and pull out.

Why is my wet dry vaccum blowing and not sucking?

The clog or the bag or canister is full. Clean or replace filters.
First of all, make sure you put the hose on the suction port. If it's blowing where it should be sucking, the polarity of the motor is backward; the wires are hooked up wrong.

Not sucking, smoking

Hi If its smoking the belt needs replaced. Check the top of the hood for two or three crosshead screws; two at the front and one under neath the duster part. The belt may be on its way out.
Also if its not sucking anything up, it may well be clogged. Check the drive belt area where the main dust channel is, top and bottom hose too.
Also make sure than the filters in the bin/pleated cones are completely clear of dust. If washing make sure the filters are completely dry before putting them back in.

Vibrates very loudly when brush starts spinning

take out screws on bottom and see if tension bar can be tightened, make sure the right belt is in there, also if belt looks worn or gouged replace with a new belt

Brush will not spin any longer

If the brush won't spin at all, it's either the drive belt or the roller beater brush is clogged. Pet hair can quickly clog a vacuum. Turn the unit over and see if the brush will rotate by hand. If yes, it's probably the belt. Also look for debris and clear as much out as possible. You may have to remove the bottom plate and clean the bottom of the unit out. If you do have to go that far, it would be best to replace the drive belt and thoroughly clean the vacuum.

My bissell bagless vac has no vaccum. ihave

You will have to clean the filter and clean the main motor.  I had this issue on mine and the main motor was so full of dust bunnies, that it stopped it from creating a vacuum.
