You cannot. There is a pressure switch that measures the weight of the water before moving on to the next cycle.

Is pfaff hobbymatic a heavy duty machine?

The term "heavy duty" sewing machine is thrown about loosely lately. There are new machines (including Pfaff, Singer, etc) for sale advertised as "heavy duty," but I would be hesitant to stitch denim jean hems on them. The Pfaff 807, which appears to be an older mechanical, is probably more "heavy duty" than some newer machines on the market. However, "heavy duty" does not mean that you can sew big canvas sailcloth or heavy upholstery projects. A domestic machine (which the Pfaff 807 is) is really meant for general domestic sewing. If you want to sew "heavy duty" fabric, then look to an industrial machine. Remember that frequent sewing of heavy fabric takes a toll on a domestic machine, ie the motor, needlebar, other working parts, thus hastening the demise of your machine and the more frequent need for service & repair.

Door gasket is black looks moldy?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I see that the door gasket on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000ES, is black and looks moldy. It because the mildew is not just on the gasket, but it is in the tub and in the pump and discharge hose as well. You need to reduce/eliminate the mildew in those parts. There are a couple of things you should do to reduce the causes of mildew.

1. Run the machine once a month, using liquid bleach, on the clean-tub cycle to clean out the machine. You might need to repeat this a few times to completely clean out your machine.

2. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the about and type of laundry detergent to use with your wash. Using too much detergent causes a buildup of detergent on the tub which encourages mildew growth.

3. After your final wash of the day, leave the door and laundry detergent open, wipe dry the gasket with a cloth.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully.

-Best Regards-

Cannot locate my manual at moment and need to know where I should set my tensions for sewing heavy duty?

typically you need to increase the upper tension to 7-8 for very heavy duty materials, I like to start with the machine at like 4 and increase till it is just perfect. Good luck with your project.

Heavy material feed dog

To the very best of my knowledge (and I've been full time as a manager / owner in my family sewing machine sales / service business for almost 30 years (with many more part-time before that), I know of no "heavy material" feed dog that has been available for the Pfaff 130. Please keep in mind that the 130, while pretty heavy duty (especially compared to many of today's machines), was never manufactured or intended to be heavy duty in the sense of sewing heavy items such as uphaolstery fabrics (canvas, nagahide, etc.). It was produced with the intent of being a reliable household (non-commercial / industrial) machine with the purpose of sewing light-to-moderate heavy metrails. What exactaly are you trying to sew that leads you to the request of using "heavy material" feed dogs or that you feel Pfaff produced / manufactured such an item?

Best regards,

Dave

I need to use 10 gallons to have the washing machine run. If I want to reduce to 7 gallons What shall I do.(the machine is heavy duty one) Best regards, olive

The only way to use less water in a washing machine is to turn your settings down to medium or small load, this is false economy as it takes more loads of laundry to get the job done,,To use your washer to its full economy, do full loads of laundry.
The washer requires a set amount of water to run,any less and you are not going to be happy with the results.
If you have the financial resources, you can install a water reclamation system, this will save and filter and then re-use the water again and again.

Washing Machine MAF18-MC4VS This machine use a lot of water. Is there a way to save water. Please advice. Thanks. Calvin

One way I found to conserve water use, is either the washing machine has a water saver button feature or just use cold water as much as possible. That way, you are not using up the hot water and conserving the gas or electric that it takes to heat the water.

BAD INSTALLATION ON LG 4.00 WM2496H*M TROMM WASHER.!!!!!!!!!!!

The storage bottoms are ok in quality, and do give you more space. They are built for just the use of the washer/dryer they are made for, so they will hold up. Best idea, is when you get your base units, tell the store you want a new pan liner installed as well. You may also want to tell the store that the installation personel who set up your new machine broke the last one and you want some sort of credit, free delivery, new pan liner, discount, etc. All stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Ace) that carry plumbing products, appliances, etc, will carry a heavy duty floor pan for your unit. Good luck and let me know if you need further information. Jim
