Question about DCS RDT-485GD-N Kitchen Range

Open Question

I have a DCS-RD-484 GG any problem using oven liners and would you have a source to purchase a 271/2 X 22 liner?

Also, would the liner go on the oven floor or the bottom rack?

I live in Republic of Ireland and require a replacement liner for a 0.5l flask. Where can I find this. Are liners still available or only new vacuum flasks

Vacuum flask liners have faded from the general scene
However if you try the specialist cooking tensile shops ( shops that handle pots, pans knives and all lines for the kitchen) you may get a shop that can still source the liner for you

Mistakenly placed foil on bottom of oven. Pulled out foil and noticed minor damage to lining. What is the impact of this and does it need to repaired or replaced

Other than the appearance of the bottom liner I don't think you did any other damage. You probably just melted some of the foil to the liner. Just keep and eye on it the next few times you bake something. If for some reason the liner coating starts to come off more every time you use the oven---then it probably will need fixed. This would require replacing the complete oven liner if the bottom is not removable as a single part.

Dcs 484 oven won't light but ingition bar glows bright

Yep, that's a common problem with these stoves. The igniter has a limited lifespan. You will need to call and order another igniter and probably have someone install it.

Can I paint over the blotched oven floor after the liner melted

Unfortunately there is no simple way to fix this, The original coating is a vitreous ceramic baked on enamel which cannot be repaired easily. There are some companies who sell kits that claim to be able to patch the oven liner but are not very successful. You will either have to put up with it or you can contact your local agent for your oven a price a replacement liner which won't be cheap and is a pain to fit.

Had a large crockpot, outside got reeeeely hot so I junked it but kept the liner (has a plastic lid). Wondering if I can use the liner in an oven, and/or range top (gas or electric). Anyone know? Bottom...

Problem solved 1/25/10: went to www.crock-pot.com/customerservice and started reading. Stoneware liners are usable in ovens and microwaves (up to 400 deg), and range tops. It didn't say to, but I plan to put a wire grid (as used for some double-boilers) to avoid direct heat.

I heard a pop and then i saw sparks inside the oven, the sparks were coming from what looks and feels like a paper cover inside the microwave

This sounds like the inner lining is coming off and alloying the metal interior to spark. You will need to repair the liner and this should fix your problem.

Swimline unibeaded liner - Is this the same as a beaded liner

Beaded and Uni-bead are not the same.
A uni-bead liner is what is often called a J-hook, if you want to use it in a pool that uses a beaded liner you need to remove the bead receiver. A J-hook liner attaches right to the pool wall, not a bead receiver.

Left a silicone liner in a self-cleaning oven when I cleaned it

JUST SCRAPE IT OFF IF YOU CAN. OTHERWISE RUN ANOTHER CYCLE AND BURN THE REST OUT OF THERE.

OR JUST USE IT AS LONG AS YOU DONT SMELL ANYTHING BAD.
