Caller ID on cellular phones works different than on landline phones. Unless the person calling is saved to your phonebook, it will tell you the number of the person calling, but not the name (unless the person calling has caller ID blocking, in which case it will say blocked). There is not way to change this, as it is a limitation of cellular caller ID systems.
I've seen this on my iPhone too, and often times, the caller is one of my friends / relatives from another country. If your expecting a call from a person in another country, the blocked number could be that person.
LG Xenon - for adjusting the audible caller announce feature: hit the options menu in the top right corner and select call alert,
you can set the phone to announce the name or number of the person
calling/texting before the ring.
Some phones are not equiped to pick up call waiting caller id. check the box or look up your model number on the uniden site. The call waiting caller id only shows up on the phone that is in use at the time of the call.
