Red ring is not the only problem with Microsoft Xbox 360. This amazing device also has some more common problems like Audio , video problem, disc read error etc. Microsoft is providing extended warranty only for red ring problem. Means you will have to spend some money to get this problem repaired also if you plan to send your xbox to Microsoft, you will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get back your favourite Xbox. There is one more option in the form of DIY guide, this guide explains solving No Video problem with step by step instruction, so any novice can fix this problem

I have done the same thing. You should try checking to see if you have H.D. on your A.V. cable. Switch to appropriate setting and usually your problem is solved. If not then you may have something wrong with the port itself inside the console.

Make sure no other game console is hooked up to the spliter then turn everything off... turn the TV on first, then the game system, if the system still doesn't produce sound then get a NEW dedicated cable Hope that helps

This is a very common . The cause clearly evident bellow.
The good news it that it can be repaired Permanently with a
proper X clamp mod , The hardware responsible (The X clamp)

My x-box 360 has no picture when turned on.

Your XBOX 360 has a video problem. A different cable will not fix this. It needs to be reflowed. Look online on how to reflow an XBOX360 or send it in for repair.

No Picture on TV

Try replacing the A/V cable. It sounds like that the cable that is for the video is broken. I would replace that first.

Won't show the picture or sound

Here's one possiblility.

There should be a switch on the x box cable that goes from High definition output to analog.

Try changing the swith setting.

Video problem

depending on what type of cables you are using, you will need to double check that the colors match, especially if using the component ones.. i had the same thing happen and i swore the cables were right but they weren't..

if you are using an lcd/plasma flat panel, sometimes you have to turn the tv off and on again so the picture can switch over.. need more information if none of this helps.. good luck, d

have you tried pulling all other scart connections out of the TV, and putting the X box scart in the very top one. I know it sounds weird, but ive heard it works, something to do with the other appliances taking away the picture. Worth a go.
Hope this helps
