Water leaking from bottom of frigidare washer

I recently purchased a used frigidare washer and on the first try water is leaking from the bottom of the unit. All hoses and drains are tight and do not seem to be the source of the problem. Would anyone know what might be the issue?
Thanks

the intake hoses are fine. trying to get panels off but screws are stripped.

When you state that all hoses and drains are tight, do you mean the intake hoses that fill the washer, or the water hoses under the washer?

You really don't have to take a panel off, depending on your washer model. All you would have to do, is flip the washer over on its side and check underneath.

Leaking LG washer

There is no easy way to do this. Unplug and unhook the machine, use a wet and dry vacuum to drain the water out through the drain hose, lay the unit down so that you can see the bottom and very carefully inspect the pump, the hoses and the tub seal.

Leaking water on the bottom of the washer while washing. Could you please tell me what`is wrong with my washer.

Water leakage
1. Inlet hose loosely connected to valve---tighten hose connection
2. Drain hoses not tight on pump----tighten hose clamps
3. Broken hose---replace hose
4. Leaky gasket---replace gasket
5. Cracked housing---replace part

Washer is leaking

sounds like you have a hose problem. are the hot and cold water hose connections tight? they may need new washers. if that is the problem turn off water valves, disconnect hoses and replace them with garden hose washers from any hardware store. re-tighten them snugly. just tight enough so they don't leak. if it only leaks while draining, replace the short hoses connected to the pump, located inside bottom of inside of washer.

Front loader, frigidare, not draining properly.

your washer has a drain catch, a small plastic cylinder with holes in it, that catches things left in you clothes. It may be restricted. You may have to clean your drain catch. It is located inside the hose that comes off the bottom of your outer tub, at the bottom, and goes to the drain pump. The easiest way to do this is to pull unit out enough to where you can tilt it back to rest against the wall. At the bottom of the washer there will be an oval shaped hole. You can access the hose with the drain catch inside of it. Remove the clamp at the tub with a phillips screwdriver or a 9/32 or 7mm socket. Before you do this you may want to remove any water still inside tube with a shop vac attatched to the washer drain line. If not alot of water will come out on the floor, or just get some towels, it will be messy. Once you have removed the clamp, remove hose enough to where you can pull out plastic cylinder inside hose. Make sure when you reinstall hose, that the hose is pushed up all the way against the tub, all the way around, or it will leak. Good luck!

Water leak

Sounds like a hose on the inside of the washer. Have you checked them? If all of them are tight and not leaking for sure. It might be the drain stopped up or a slow drain. The water is pumped out of the machine faster than just a drain, like on a sink does.

Washer less than a year old. Top loading. Will

Have you moved recently, or moved the washer for any reason?

Two things can usually cause that.

First, Some part of the drain hose must always be higher than the highest possible water level in the machine. Remember that water flows downhill. If all the hose is lower then the highest possible water level the machine can never fill since water will drain out hose. So, raise the hose higher than the flat top of the washer and try again.

2A, Inserting the drain hose too far into the house drain. or 2B, sealing out ALL air in the drain line by using a hose too tight in the drain pipe or taping the drain pipe tightly with the drain hose in it can both create a vacuum in the drain line which will actually **** out all the water in the tub. This can be tested by pulling the drain all the way out and aiming it into the tub as you try it. Good Luck.

WASHER WONT DRAIN

Take off the lower panel ( 2 screws on bottom) pullout and down to remove. Make sure unit is unplugged pump is on the right hand side one hose coming from bottom of tub and the other goes out the back to the drain. Take off the hose from the bottom of the tub and be ready to catch alll the water in the tub suggest you use shop vac and remove all water first. look in the impellar in pump should be a clog right there then put everything back the way you toook it off and be careful to get the hose back on the way you took it off there is a slot in the hose and a tab on the pump for alignment.

Washer leaking

This is hard to trace but is often tracked to a loose hose connection or less often, a defective seal or gasket. Disconnect utilities to the machine. Carefully tip the machine over from the back to that the front is at a 45 degree angle or so from vertical and brace it. Use a strong light to look for a water stain. Determine what to do from there.
